Help Designers Against Aids!

Hey guys,

As you know, this month Tokio Hotel are encouraging all fans to get involved with fund raising with Designers Against Aids. If you don't know about them, they are the company that promote Fashion Against Aids, who TH designed a t-shirt for, in association with H&M.

We really want to support DAA with fundraising as they are a fantastic organisation and do excellent work for raising awareness of HIV and AIDS. They are raising money to finish building their Education Centre.

So far, you can support DAA by buying a special set of badges on the TH shop or donating to them directly. SEE HERE If you donate, you could win a meet & greet with TH!

BUT! We want more fundraising ideas! The staff are already cooking up some ideas, but we want you to get involved! Any fundraising you do will be supported by Designers Against Aids and they will give you documents to prove who you are fundraising for. (You may need this if you want to do something at school or collect on the streets.)

Can you and your friends raise a little bit of money for DAA this month??

Schools are a great place to do this. How about doing a Christmas bake sale (we've seen how talented some of you are!)?? Or can you ask your head teacher permission to do a special DAA assembly and have donation tins in school??

How about getting out on the streets? Wear your fashion against aids t-shirt and tell people about DAA and TH while you're at it! Make sure anything like this is done with supervision if you are under 16!

Do you have any great ideas for fundraising? We wanna hear them! We are going to be supporting DAA from now until at least their centre opening, so we wanna get you all involved!

Not a mass fundraiser but I hope to give about £100 - £200.

Just had a brilliant idea!

Everyone who's making cakes and sweets for the christmas competition could auction off or sell their treats to the locals.

It'd be a good way to get two birds with one stone.

Anyone who's up for it anyway could do it.

When i try to buy some of those, i can't register because I can't seem to find England. Also why are there two street address boxes? I'm reallllly confused.

England is listed as Vereinigtes Koenigreich (sorry I don't have Umlaute at my work computer) and two street boxes? I might have to have a look at that. A small and big one? One might be for the house number and one for the street name. That's all I can think of right now.

why dont you hold a party and make all th fans pay to get in and like tell people about it on twitter and facebook and then loads of people from all over the world will turn up x good luck x *fingers crossed*

I just had a look at the order form, Turner (I have to get a move on to put my order together *haha*) and the two street address fields are definitely for street name and house number, I'd say. E.g. in Germany you put the number at the end of the street name and not like for UK addresses where it's the number first followed by the street name. So I think that's it. Just put your address in as normal. Use the first field for your house number and the second for the street name (if the box is big enough, if not just swap it around, it'll be ok). I don't think you can do much wrong with filling in the form so I wouldn't worry too much. And yes, select Vereinigtes Königreich for UK.

It's 12 Euros for delivery of TH shop items to the UK.

You've still got until 31st December to order the button set for all proceedings to go to DAA.

DAA also sent a request for pictures of us Fans wearing the TH buttons and especially the DAA one.

We at Designers against AIDS are looking for photos of TH fans wearing the new fundraising buttons -especially the DAA button- so we can feature them on our website www.designersagainstaids.com and in our Facebook group 'Tokio Hotel fundraiser for Designers against AIDS'.
