Christmas Competition 2009 - Winner and Runners Up!
Ok guys, first of all we're really sorry it's taken longer than we originally planned to announce our winner. It's hard to come to a final decision when we love all the entries! But we have reached our decision ;D
We want to thank EVERYONE who sent in an entry. The standard was very high, and we really enjoyed looking at all your creations.
I have to say, that even narrowing it down to a smaller list was hard, but choosing our final winner out of them was really quite difficult. The final decision is made by everyone voting on the list of favourites, and the entry with the most votes is our winner.
This means that we also have runners up, and because we were so impressed we wanted to give them a mention here. There may also be some little runners up prizes
Runners Up
So, before we get to our final winner, let's take a look at our 3 runners up. These are in no particular order ...
First of all, what we've been calling the Sparkly Bill cake, by Lauren. ;D
We loved the detail that Lauren put into this, particularly with Bill's sparkly top! Personally, I really love Tom in this - it's looks curiously like RL Tom, lol. Anyway, well done Lauren. Sorry you didn't make first place, but we really loved your entry.
Next up is Beth's Tokio Hotel Snowmen ;D
Again, we were all impressed by the amount of detail and effort that Beth put into her entry. We all thought the snowmen were, in Pev's words, 'rather fabulous'. ;D We're sorry you didn't win, but we also really loved your entry.
And our final runner up, the 'Fire on the Stage' cake, by Paige.
The little characters on this made us laugh, and Gusti's TH drums is are great touch! As with our other two runners up, we're sorry you didn't win, but we were really impressed with your entry ;D
Our Christmas Competition 2009 Winner!
So, the winner of our competition is ..... Havanah and her wonderful 'Tom in a Stocking' cake ;D
We really adored this entry. It was an original idea, contained a lot of effort and detail, and had the cute factor too. Who wouldn't want a Kaulitz in their Christmas stocking? ;D
It was a difficult choice, but Havanah's entry, and the thought that went into it, impressed us all, and won the winning vote.
So, huge congratulations to you, Havanah! We'll get your prizes to you as soon as possible ;D
And thanks once again to everyone who took part!

Congratulations Havanah! We loved your cake and thought it was a really different idea and you executed it really well! Well done to all our runner ups too, you guys did an amazing job, and had totally unique quirks about each individual piece !

I knew I wasn't gonna win anything but ALL these ideas are really original, unlike mine lol I really like all of these and might try them out! I really like Havanah's entry and I think it was really cute! I also ADORE the snowmen! Well done to everyone who entered and especially well done to runners up and Havanah!

Aww, well we wish everyone could have won, Rebekah! All the entries were so great, and it was clear to us from the beginning that it would be a very close competition.
I can honestly say that it was really hard to pick favourites, as we loved them all.

Liz, mine is REALLY basic though compared to these entries but I just couldn't think of anything!!! So I just did the first thing that sprung to mind. Which was mince pies! I was looking at some of the other entries on YouTube tonight, that were linked to Havanah's and now I can see why it was such a tough competition! There's still the DAA Draw and the WBMW video contest though! DAA Draw entered and I'm in the process of making my WBMW video. But it'll probably be too long lolz

Welll donnnneee to all who entered, even if you didn't get into the runners up! It was so close even to decide favorites, as has been mentioned- they were all quite fantastic ;D I think yours very original, Havanah. It was colourful, but not over-done, with a different concept and really symbolises some of the fandom that we see in the Street Team The only question that remains is did you get what you wanted from Santa?
