Finally a little something from Bill to the rest of his fans! This was posted on the tokiohotel.com and tokiohotel.de sites:
HI, IT'S BILL FROM TOKIO HOTEL!
I'm still not allowed to talk but I can write so I thought I would drop you a line here at TokioHotel.com to let you know how everything is going!
Most of you probably heard that the surgery went well which was a huge relief for me - I am so happy that it's done and over with now. The doctors tell me that everything will be fine but we can't be too sure whether my voice will sound the same as before....but I am confident that everything will be good!
I am so happy when these ten days will be over and I am finally allowed to talk again. I mean you really have to try to picture not being able to say a single word for ten days.....it's torture! Georg, Gustav and especially Tom are coming by on a regular basis to visit me which is great and helps me a lot....Tom is there pretty much 24/7. Thanks to everyone for all the "get well" wishes - there is so much circulating on the internet that I could basically read for the ten days straight and wouldn't even be able to finish reading all the comments. Thanks for your support - you guys really rock!!!!

Aww, so sweet. ;D I`m glad he sent this message out to everyone. It`s such a relief to know that he`s feeling ok, and that everyone is looking after him, especially Tom. This whole thing has gotta have been really hard on him too. LOL @ Bill saying " you really have to try to picture not being able to say a single word for ten days.....it's torture! Right, I couldn't resist to do a translation of the German message. It's just too cute! I have to share this. I'm still baffled by the random leaving out and/or adding of things in those "official" translations every now and then. Most of the times I don't get what's the big deal about translating it as close to the original as possible. *shrugs*
However, here's the German (I'm really tempted to correct the typos but I won't because I'd like to think that this is how Bill wrote it without reading over it afterwards and nobody else corrected it. ):HI, ICH BIN´S, BILL VON TOKIO HOTEL!
Leider darf ich zur Zeit noch nicht sprechen aber am schreiben hindert mich ja niemand....deshalb dachte ich mir, dass ich euch hier auf TokioHotel.de ein paar Zeilen schreibe.
Wie die meisten sicherlich schon gehört haben ist meine Operation richtig gut verlaufen und ihr könnt euch sicher vorstellen, dass mir ein riesen Stein vom Herzen gefallen ist. Klar, wie meine Stimme nach den zehn Tagen Schweigepause klingen wird weiß keiner so wirklich aber die Ärzte versichern mit immer wieder dass alles okay sein wird - das baut natürlich auf aber absolute Gewissheit ist das eben auch nicht. Ich bin aber guter Dinge, dass alles so klingt wie vorher.
Ich könnte euch sicher vorstellen, dass ich mich schon tierisch auf den Tag freue an dem ich endlich wieder reden darf...es ist schlicht und ergreifend eine Folter den ganzen Tag den Mund halten zu müssen und das volle zehn Tag! Toll ist, dass ich während dieser Zeit total bemuttert werde ;-) Gustav & Georg besuchen mich regelmäßig und Tom ist sowieso rund um die Uhr für mich da.
Danke an euch alle für die vielen „Genesungswünsche“ die im Internet kursieren. Es ist kaum zu glauben wie viele Leute sich um mich sorgen und ich könnte wahrscheinlich Monate lang lesen und würde trotzdem kein Ende der Grußbotschaften sehen. So a massive thanks for your humongous support – you’re just immense… the best fans one could wish for!!!!It's not just me who thinks that this is actually a bit more heart-felt and more Bill-like than the English translation published on the official site, right?
