I've only watched the video once, and that was before it was posted here with a more lude transcript.
I don't think they're happy saying it, there is a lot of anger and pain behind the words even though they're trying to brush it off as if it doesn't effect them, clearly it does effect them. Bill looks really snappy, and yes he's heard it all before and he's saying it doesn't bother him but you can see it does otherwise he wouldn't be so stiff and uptight. Tom is constantly looking at Bill for approval as if what he's saying has been taken too far.
I think they've tried to create a joke out of it but in the process hurt themselves more, mostly Bill as most are aimed at him looking feminine, it's the topic of most if not all magazines and interviews he's probably sick to death of trying to defend himself and he's let his guard down and this has happened.
I'm not saying they never meant to say this because they obviously tired to make a joke of it but I think it uprooted some deep emotional ties that they have tried to bury. Then again, this is from me watching it once that was my first opinion, I dont want to watch it again because I don't like seeing them so vunerable, its painful to watch.
With the use of language, you can't say that when offended you don't put up a defense barrier, and most people, including myself use swear words to take their anger out. I believe the reason they are using such derogatory words is because they are trying to defend themselves whilst making the joke, they're trying to show that where as they don't care, you shouldn't either, you should rise above what people are saying, with that said though, they have been lost in translation as you can tell they've been effected by whats been said in the media about them.
Thats my opinion anyway, they wouldn't use such derogatory comments against other people when they dislike it on themselves so much.

What also gets me is that it's not only the media and not even only the "haters". Bill gets so much abuse thrown at him by fans as well. Especially lately I have read so many things that shocked me and made me hurt for him. TH fans have great humour and we all love to poke fun of them and that's fine because mostly that's what it is. We enjoy their music but also the entertainment they give us and that's ok. I have to say though that I've seen lots of hurtful, vicious and plainly rude comments aimed at Bill by fans. It's fine to criticise etc but seriously I've seen stuff that sounds more as if it was said by a certain celeb blogger and not a TH fan. As far as I'm concerned it doesn't matter whether Bill is your favourite or if you actually don't really like him, it makes no sense to me that someone should not care enough and isn't bothered to say things that are this cruel and that they don't mind if they might hurt Bill or make him feel uncomfortable. Why do this to any person? Especially if he's part of a band that supposedly means something to you. I just don't understand it. I've never experienced any band having to endure as much point- and senseless hate from people as TH (especially in Germany where it seems to be the normal thing to do just for the sake of it) and it never failed to worry me. However, it has always shocked me even more when it came from fans and the recently increasing comments aimed at Bill irritate me. It's different when it comes from fans. It's even worse.
Whatever triggered this rant it was a build-up, I think and I agree, even though they seem to brush it off I don't think that's the case. Like I said before though, we're not likely to really get to know what's going on inside of them. I'm still grateful for the laughs at the end. Best bit.
Lol Becky, you know me. Can't shut up once I get started. There was a reason why I posted the translation without any personal comment. I get what you're saying and you surely aren't the only one. Like you said, people take it differently and you have valid points.
Mairi don't worry! It works both ways. Like I said, sometimes the band get translated with stuff that's worse than what they've actually said and sometimes it gets toned down. It's not your fault and look how many people have spread that video. Barely anyone stops to take a minute. It's all about who's the fastest and if the translation only offers the gist barely anyone cares about it or the nuances that might be missing. Why would they. Translation yes or no. In the end it was something that came from the band, something that they have done. You can't always only post translations by people you know. Bless. Not with the pace that the TH news world is moving. haha Besides, we try to keep an eye on things and if something like this turns up we always try and be around and offer as much information as we can. That's fine.
There will always be a language barrier, also for me. I try to get it as close as I can and sometimes it's ridiculous how much time I spend pondering about a word, its meaning, use and how it could be understand or what kind of reaction it could provoke. It's also one of the main reasons the band were hesitant to speak English and still don't do it in every interview. They can express themselves best in their native language and are worried that they might be misunderstood with their limited vocab or come across differently to who they are. It can never be avoided though. Not even talking in their native language. Sometimes they barely make sense or just make up words. haha

Well guys, you sure know how to get thoughts onto paper! (Or on a keyboard... Never mind that phrase). I agree with everything you have to say and learning German, I do try and see if the words they use are actually as bad as what they seem in their native language and sometimes they do change things to just make more sense.
On the subject on the video, I'd just like to say, I LOVE THE WAY BILL SAYS FERRARIS!

i don't think they are swearing so much out of anger or to be rude or to add effect to what they are saying, i think they are saying exactly what people have literally said to them. Magazines, the internet, people on the street, people at school. i do think them joking about is because they are hurt by it, because they wouldn't have kept such a low profile this whole year, and Bill even said that he was sick of seeing his face everywhere and hearing about himself.
But that is the price of fame and they know it. i know it is no exscuse, and personally i think the press go way too far and i'm sure most of you would agree with that, but celebrities are there for us to look at and talk about either in a negative way or a positive way, they let us forget about our own troubles and focus on theirs. we scrutinise them from head to toe because we have so many insecurities of our own.
I think not only the press but us as people love to push people to the top of the mountain, worship them, then drag them back down. its like a sport, we pushed britney to the top then kicked her down, we pushed michael jackson to the top then kicked him down. and we fuel the press by our hunger to see more and hear more even if we hate what they are saying about our celebrities.
We get lured in by the press and pushed to think in a certain way. i have even read some nasty comments (from another website) written by Tokio Hotel FANS about the boys.
we see and read about them soo much that we begin to forget they are human. Even us fans. I do not condone the use of the 'F' word and i have never personally said it to anyone myself, but in a way i can see how them saying it is kind of good. i think behind all the laughing and sarcasm in this video they did this to show us exactly what they have to put up with on a daily basis. i think some people being shocked and appalled is exactly the reaction they wanted, because that is how they feel when they read or hear it. I think them joking and laughing about it then showing us this video, is them saying that they want us to laugh about it too, because no matter how hurtful it is, they can't do anything about it but keep denying it. They don't want us fans to take anything like that said about them seriously. if we all laugh about it, it makes it more difficult for the press to drag tokio hotel down.
i understand why people would be offended by their seemingly flippant remarks, and they possibly could of been a bit more considerate of people who would be hurt by this, but i don't think this is a bad video.

To be honest, no matter how much any person (especially Germany were like midori said, people do it for the sake of it) it doesn't give us the right to make vicious nasty cruel insults towards Bill, or infact any of the boys. I've seen certain comments flying around on Facebook like, "i wish i smashed Gustav with a bottle" < This is disgracful and you should NEVER EVER think of EVER saying that or even doing that to any human, no matter how much you dislike them. To be honest, i think people need to sort themself's out, its generally out of order. and that certain celebrity blogger will one day in his life, get smashed in the face by a celebrity (i'm not saying they should smash his face in or anything like that but it will happen) and relise his constant bitching accusing and twisting has gotten him nowhere. The press, well really are idiots who just twist stuff. They have no vision for how a band or certain person feels, it yet doesn't give them a right to bring Tokio hotel down, and fans who blog nasty stuff about them really aren't fans at all, there yet just another form of public press. I think as human's we need to watch what we write and say about certain people. i know none of that probably made sense since im not too good with writing i hope i got my point across. EDIT: And people/fans who comment on Bill and the band in a negetive way, probably don't realise, they might TRY and ignore the comments but every negetive comment they take in WILL stay with them and it will upset them and it will ruin there self esteem in some way, no matter how happy they might look, every comment thats horrible will effect you, I do know this as I've probably made a big mistake myself, entering the modelling industry and it's a very critique and tough part of fame I know that, ive tryed to make jokes out of myself but it does hurt it really does, and even though the boys do it, they probably get hurt too. being famous must be really hard, for Bill, all the public care about is about his weight his hair his clothes his face, like he's some sort of model and you can tell there's little hints that he does care. no matter how much he says it doesn't bother me it does, you can tell and what casting people have said about me, does hurt but i want to go on because it's something i want to do and i probably will change things to please people its not about being yourself in the modelling industry its about pleasing other's. i sound really bad in this but its the truth im honestly not trying to dig at Bill but its true, he does care and so does the rest of the band the twins look to eachother for approval like Soubi said their afraid they need eachother really their suituations are difficult i do honestly feel sorry for them.

I really have to agree with Susi. It's not so much the press and 'haters' that upset me, but the 'fans' themselves. Infact, I have read far worse things said about them by so called fans than by anyone else.
The video upsets me because everything they said is exactly what's been said about them - and even more upsettingly, it's not even the worst of it! There's no way they aren't hurt by it. Of course they can behave professionally, say they take no notice, whatever. But deep down, it must hurt, personally, and for each other.
