Right, I am over my 'issues'.
If you remove personal feelings from the situation, there is a business decision behind all of this and you just can't fault them for that.
They're releasing an album in the US & Canada. They are repped by a GOOD record label. So the record label wants to sell TH out. They want them to explode the North American charts. So they need TH in the country and playing gigs and festivals and getting out there because otherwise they won't sell.
As midori says - we are evidence of what happens when a record label doesn't promote a release. And it wasn't just our record label that are at fault with that. I remember being told that the band were too busy the week that RSG was released to come here, so maybe Universal Germany have learned their lesson now.
As for Bamboozle vs BSS. Well, Bamboozle is a good business decision, it's a bigger, more high profile event. It makes sense.
Saying that, one of my friends is going to 5 of those shows. 5! I can't even talk to her right now, I'm so jealous.

owww yeah Im not so mad about the entire America thing as such, I accepted a while back that its was going to be there year, and that they would have to do promotion etc. That doesnt get rid of the fact that other countrys exist aswell and that they should be tacktful. I mean they can book all the concerts they like, fat good it will be if Bill can't sing because they didn't give him enough time to recover from his infection, then you will get sad American fans aswell as European ones wer there concerts get pushed back. I hope when they break here we get an unflux of concerts, the UK isnt that big Im going to them ALLLLLLLLLL. hahaah. Plus with friends all over the country like we have should be well easy hehe.

I know, I do agree in some ways, but in reality there was no way they could have the concerts and not announce them now. I know Bill's sick and it looks really weird, but they are only 1 month away, so they have to announce them now. It's a business decision.
I hope they come to the UK and play some shows one day. I don't want to jinx it, so I will say no more. LOL.

Oh dear... just read about TH opting for an american show instead of the German award show that they're nominated in... silly silly. America will love them I'm sure, but they also tend to 'forget' bands pretty quickly too in their music industry... and then by the time they get back here, do you think their amry of fans in Germany will be forgiving enough? It's hard to say, espesh when there's only one date in Germany on the agenda for this tour. I know this has all been said before, but it's still annoying the heck out of me... they just seem to be making choices that are so so wrong. Silly silly. Still heart them tho of course lol

Funny Mairi I was only saying this same thing to someone today. That alot of bands are quickly replaced by the next `big thing`. Obviously I hope that doesn`t happen to TH. Despite all the recent tension, I believe they have what it takes to make the long haul. ( except decent management off course lol ) But if they loose the support of the European fans, their career could be short lived. * fingers crossed * it won`t happen that way.

If Bill wasn't ill, I would be really happy for them. They are going to be really successful in USA, and I wish them the best of luck. I just hope that Bill is well enough by then. The America isn't such a bad thing, quite a lot of English people find out about new bands from the USA, so Tokio Hotel becoming big over there will make it easier for them to be big here too Which means we should get some TH love Bad timing with announcing the dates though, but they had no choice I guess. All fans should just stick together and support the guys, they will soon realise they need to come see us too

Yeah Skye, don't waste your time with brooding about any comments some American fans felt (or still feel) the need to make. Most of them just don't have a clue what it's like to be in our situation and some will always make unnecessary and "stupid" comments and you wanna know something? Those are usually the kind of Americans that *whispers* are convinced that David Hasselhoff played some kind of active part in the German Wall coming down, will ask you where exactly in Germany Europe is situated and think that there are no trees in Germany. Erm yeah. So not worth getting worked up about it and usually not even worth trying to explain to most of those people.
Oh, don't say that about Bamboozle. I'm a bit worried, too but I'm sure they'll be fine! And it's not just all Screamo. There are, still Jimmy Eat World and Paramore. Do Americans actually tend to bottle musicians as much as British people? I don't know. I'm still excited about this festival and think it's great they get the chance to be part of it. Fingers crossed it will all work out for them.

Don`t worry bout Bamboozle Skye. It`s all good. If they chuck bottles of p ... ( ooh, pehaps I shouldn`t mention that lol ) at them, then they will come running back into our arms as fast as their sexy legs can carry them ;D And if they are a roaring success then maybe it will make our dumb lot sit up and start fighting to get them here! So it`s all good, it`s all good ..... * pops another optimism pill * Lol, only joking ... they will be fine I reckon ... One thing we know for sure - our boys know how to put on a fierce live show! I`m sure they`ll be loved, and alot of fans will go to the festie purely to see them ;D * jealous much *
