I'm going to write to the fanmail address and I think we should all do the same. It's really horrible timing and I do not support it one bit.
And I do not care if I'm official or this street team is official - when I see them not behaving in the right way for ALL fans, it gets me upset. Here we are, some of us with concert tickets abroad hanging in the balance, and they're returning to somewhere they were just a month ago. Toronto and Montreal twice in less than two months. Not only is it not fair on European fans, it's not fair on Bill, who is sick, unable to sing and pressured to get better.

yeah announcing those dates is like putting the pressure on him to be better by then..
he shouldnt HAVE to get better within a time period i wish i was his manager and just be like "Take as long as you need, seriously sweetie"
he needs someone like that not corrupt money grabbing out-for-all-they-can-get TW*TZ

Is it bad that, Im not surprised, Is it bad that evertime I think the band cant be managed any worse they somehow manage to trump the last bad thing they did. I mean, there is no limit, next they will make him give his concert via a live feed from his bed.
Its really irrating me becuase I want TH to be around for a long long time, but at the rate there going and being treated I would be surprised if they can last another 2 years.

Hence why they're my top priority once I get RR up and running ;D. You can tell the RC person is a guy. No sexism meant, but I reckon females are more... Kind.
I'll certainly send an e-mail tonight at somepoint. After my hands are gel-free, and aren't aching from refreshing the dreads. ><

Yes, we all knew there was a very good chance of the band going back to America for more tourdates in April but still the timing to announce them is just a joke and it's getting WORSE!!! There's more dates... This will be a proper tour with not much time in between dates for Bill to rest his voice.
Taken from Buzznet. I took the liberty to edit their typos. *cough*Tokio Hotel tour to hit the U.S. again: Buzznet exclusive Tokio Hotel will return to the U.S. and Canada next month for a new tour, the band has revealed exclusively to Buzznet. We've got the lowdown on the first batch of dates and more.
Looks as though it is going to be an exciting spring for Tokio Hotel fans in America and Canada, since the band has decided to grace North America again with their presence. And let me highlight my personal favourite part of this: Here's the first batch of Tokio Hotel's North American tour dates, with more to be announced soon:[/b][/color] April 17- Detroit @ State Theater April 18 - Chicago @ House of Blues April 20 - Cleveland @ House of Blues April 23 - Toronto @ Sound Factory April 25 - Montreal @ Metropolis April 26 - Montreal @ Metropolis April 30 - Boston @ Lowell Memorial Auditorium May 1 - Washington DC @ 930 club I definitely just sent off a quite long mail to the fanmail address. I'm really, really not happy with this situation. We worry about Bill's health and some big shots are busy filling up their tour schedule. Fair enough that they want to go to America to promote the album release. I have nothing against that. We all know what no promo will do to a CD release. We've been there, we're suffering the consequences of such a mess with brave faces. The Americans are lucky enough to have a good label that cares about promotion and I'm happy about this. That's not the point. The point is they do not have to play that many concerts or even any at all to promote a release. There are other possibilities to promote!

I`ve written too. I`ve shed the frustration tears, now I`m just angry. I mean, there are thousands of broken hearted fans right here! Their dreams of their shows in shreds. Thousands more STILL don`t know wether theirs will be the next show to bite the dust. And yes - we accept - because Bill is unwell, and we`re seriously worried about him. And we wants whats best for him.. . But to have to read that, whilst putting on a brave face is just insulting. `Looks like it`s gonna be an exciting spring for Tokio Hotel fans in America` Just how frigging insensitive can you be!!! Looks like it gonna be sh*t for European fans, even worse for Bill ( no way is he gonna be ready for that! He might be able to do it, but it isn`t gonna do him any good ), in fact, pretty bad for everyone except the good ole US of A. * storms off *

My only comment is that the Bravo Super Show is 3rd May. If they miss that, it's almost as bad as missing the Echos. German fans will be upset.
And I'm personally angry that they would announce a North American tour for next month in the middle of a cancelled European tour when Bill is sick in bed. I just don't understand why they would do it.
Poor Bill. Knowing that he not only has to make it through the European tour, but also a North American tour, before he can have a rest.

Yup .... really it`s just putting impossible demands on him. For someone who is 100% well this is a heavy schedule - let alone for someone who is poorly.

The only thing I can think of regarding this inconsiderateness is that the American people who organise this tour and announce it either have no clue how sick Bill is at the moment or just don't care. At the end of the day, why should they be bothered what's going on in Europe right now. It has not much do to with them and their plans for the band. Even if they know about Bill their concerts are still a month away and they're not very likely to be affected by it (the tour organisers might not realize that this could be really bad for Bill's voice/health and therefore could affect their shows). Why should they care how European fans feel about it? Also why should they care about the Bravo Super Show while working out their schedule and what dates would suit them. They probably never heard of it in the first place. It's not like it's a massively important Mtv Award. I believe they neither considered Bill's health nor the European fans' feelings and let alone some German awards when they went ahead to announce those dates. We know they should have but clearly it doesn't work that way or the announcements would've pushed back if only for a few days. The Viva Comet Awards are on 23rd May... they might be back by then. The German fans were already going crazy about the European tour on their forum and they have also put some attention towards the Bravo Super Show. Right now I don't want to go there. Should Tokio Hotel miss the Bravo Super Show (and maybe even the Comet) at least Popcorn can't moan about them only coming by to collect awards anymore. *lol*

The problem is, without Bravo, TH would never be as successful as they are now. They owe it to the magazine and the fans that buy the magazine week after week for the TH articles, to attend their annual event. It's a big thing for them and TH really shouldn't be turning their back on Bravo. They'll end up turning against them like Popcorn have and where will they be then? When all the European magazines turn away for them in favour of other bands like Killerpilze and Panik, TH will just be a memory in the German & French fans minds while they struggle to break the USA.
Personally, I think they make a mistake to miss the BSS. Someone needs to get into TH's team from the ground level to please the fans because as it is they're not doing it very well.

Absolutely. I hope they don't miss out on the Bravo Awards. Missing the Echo was a big deal to the fans and Bravo will be worse because that is an actual fans' award. But how are the chances... there's a concert on the 1st May and talk about more dates to be confirmed, BSS is on 3rd May. That would possibly mean to jet the guys to Germany and then back to North America. Unless Bravo itself doesn't mind too much if the guys don't make an appearance because they've got all the exclusives to report about the American tour and therefore are pleased as it is. I think in general they are sweeter to Tokio Hotel and much more supportive than e.g. Popcorn because they don't have to worry as much not to have anything to report about because they have those exclusives that others don't.

I don't think they're going to make it to BSS to be honest because of the concert on the 1st May. I think it will be too much. And, sure, Bravo could get all the USA exclusives, but how long before the fans get sick of seeing all the USA tour stuff. We've JUST had a few articles about that. It's not exactly news anymore that people like TH in NA.
Bravo and TH have a deal, so as long as they mutually agree it, Bravo will remain supportive. It's when TH don't have time for Bravo and German fans that there will be a problem and that seems to be getting closer and closer.

I think it`s really wrong for them to miss the awards, though I can`t see how they`re gonna be there. Yes, we all know they want to crack the US and the majority of us actually, jealousy aside lol, also want them to be successful there. But the fact is - they wouldn`t even have the opportunity to be going to America if it wasn`t for their German fans who have been there for them from the start. Even if the magazine aren`t bothered, I`m pretty certain the fans will be.
Concern for Bill is taking priority at the moment in alot of people`s minds ( unfortunately NOT in the minds of the people it SHOULD be ) but once he`s better, and out there rocking the US, especially if they don`t make this award show, it won`t take long for a bit of resentment to set in. Maybe it would be different if they`d not just come back! But the fact that it is actually uncessasary just makes it a hundred times worst.
