its cool (Y) I just dont want you and everyone else to shed tears on all this. cos there is nothing right now that will bring them immediately back to the UK. Also by shedding tears - it aint gonna being them here any quicker. its hard - I admit that, but we will just have to try and wait all this out =/

Yeah you`re right. I keep telling myself not to let this get personal - because at the end of the day, it isn`t of course. But... it kinda hurts anyway.

Sometime this century. *lol* I like that. I'm glad, Skye, that you found a way to deal with the situation that at least doesn't seem so upsetting anymore. Support is always good. Aww Liz, please don't cry. It will be ok one day. It just will be. *hugs*
Personally, I have no problems listening to their music. I listen to it as much as always. At the end of the day, it's the music that keeps me going. These days I'm more worried about Bill than America and I can wait for them to get to the UK. Right now, I'm ok with waiting but of course we still need to keep doing our fan actions and spread the word and keep the Street Team going. We'll be super prepared for when they get here! ;D And of course there's still the meet up and I can 't wait to meet you guys! *yay*

I can`t lie. I find it hard to listen to them at the moment. Not because I`m angry, because it`s upsetting me. I know it`s silly, but I do feel kinda betrayed. Even going abroad to see them - everything Bill says to the crowd he`s saying to the fans in that country - not to me - to a UK fan. Becasue they didn`t want to see us. I listened to By Your Side today and it just made me cry. so yeah, I haven`t been listening to them so much . . . . I know where you're coming from Liz, I haven't listened to the band for 2, maybe 3 days on the trot and that's like a miricle for me, seeing as I usually listen to at least one of their songs each day. But yeah, listening to Bill sing the words 'I am by your side', just makes me feel so sad. I feel like shouting at my CD Player LOL, which is mean, because it's not my CD players fault that TH aren't returning to the UK, but yeah, you propably just got an image if shouting at my CD player and ranting about how they should come back ect, but i bet it put a smile on your faces, made me LOL. but yes, i've forgotten what my point was now, and shall shut up before i start to rant about something stupid and very off-topic, like flippin' toothpaste! *keep Aerrow away from reading that LOL*

ROFL imagine an American reading that they'd all like Pard'ner WTF are these gosh-darn-varmit on aboot? they're talkin bout toofpaste ROFL sorry i couldn't resist // EXTREMLY off topic \\

I just hope that they really do take enough time off after Bill's surgery for his voice to recover fully. I feel like I can post here since it's mostly English people on here, but a lot of the American fans are making me so angry right now posting stuff about how they 'hope the US tour won't be cancelled'.
SERIOUSLY?
do they think he's going to have surgery tomorrow and be back onstage 3 weeks later?? And it's not sour grapes here--I had tickets for four of the U.S. gigs myself--but I just can't believe anyone could care about something like that right now. I am SO concerned for Bill and disappointed in some of the fans right now...

OMG are you serious??? These people surely don`t even think there`s a possibility Bill will be able to go to America!!! He`s having surgery for god`s sake!! He needs to be left alone to recover. And that`s not sour grapes on my part either! I bought tickets for Paris in June because I was expecting my Norway gig to be cancelled, and I seriously doubt that it will go ahead now. So yeah - that`s two gigs gone, and I`ve NEVER seen them live! BUT I DON`T CARE. I wouldn`t care if I had tickets to every single d**n show. I just want Bill to be well. And I don`t want him to be worried, or feel that he`s let us down. If anything, we`ve let him down by expecting too much from him.

Urgh, I don't know what to do. Last night I was thinking I would change my Slovenia flight to a Paris flight and go to the Parc des Princes concert in June. But, I don't know if that will even go ahead. And it'll cost me an additional £40 to make the change on the flight. Gahahahaha.
Poor Bill. Obviously I'm devastated for him and I DO NOT want him to rush back to the stage. But, if those concerts are going ahead, I'd like to be there.
Poops.

Yeah of course Claire, I totally understand. It`s like one half of you doesn`t want to hope that he`ll be able to do it, because for sure, all any of us want is for him to get better. But on the other hand, no point in missing out if it goes ahead. Well, I already got my tickets, but I`m not even gonna think about paying extra to transfer my Noway flights etc.. To be honest, I can`t see how he`s going to make it. It`s really not that far away.

Oh Eve, that really is disappointing. I don't understand how some fans could think like that. Unbelievable. I couldn't care less for "my" concerts. Sure, it would've been an amazing time but this is so not important under the circumstances. Bill needs to get better, that's all that matters. I'm not even going to pay much attention to those whiny fans. If that's how they want to spend their time and energy, fine. I'm not going to dwell on that kind of negativity. We need to be positive and supportive for the band and especially Bill.

Not sure where to put this, so I've gone for this thread: newsticker.welt.de/index.php?channel=ver&module=dpa&id=17359236BillsAccording to this article Conan O'Brien (talk show in the USA) wants TH to be on his April 28th talk show. Provisionally they will go on it unless Bill is still sick so they will cancel it. DUDE. That wouldn't even be the recommended rehabilitation period recommended by the doctor. Why aren't they taking Bill's illness as seriously as the fans?? As far as I can tell, every message board, 99% of fans think that rushing Bill to America and back on stage in May is way too soon. I know we don't have the money vested in this stuff as they do, but Bill's long term health is surely as much of a goal for them as it is for fans. Everyone says they will wait. Claire xx
