Hm. Has anyone noticed that they're constantly saying that they can't get Britian to understand them ? I just wanted to point that out and say that they never actually make an effort to become well known over here. They just assume that because they came here when they weren't really well known that nobody cares much for their music however, when they went to America they were more accepted because they were internationally famous.
Rant over. (:

Yes I have heard that point before, they always say we don't care because they are not as many fans here as anywhere else, maybe if they come here, more people will go because I bet the fanbase has doubled since last time .

When you say "they" would've said they can't get Britain to understand them and that we wouldn't care, do you actually refer to the band? If so I don't recall them saying something like that and I also don't think that they'd assume fans in the UK wouldn't care about them and for their music.

*agrees with jessy and catherine* they can't just abandon us after their failed attempt of trying to make it big here. i mean, it was a few interviews and one concert, whereas in america, they spend the majority of the year there. that's not fair on us. plus, that's many more fans here in england, they're bound to do better now if they try again.

Who says they're not going to give us another go? No one even knows their future plans.

I don't recall the band ever saying anything like that about Britain, I'd quite like to know where you got this "quote" of sorts from. I agree with Susi, I don't think the band would say anything like that.
I don't think it's right to say we love them more than another country, because there's no way to measure how much love one country worth of fans is compared to another.
I'm not saying it's not disappointing that they have spent a lot of their time in America, but the other countries feel the same as us - apart from the fact, the other countries get them more than we ever did. But, never give up hope - you never know when they'll decide to come back.

Exactly! And if anything, mine and Becki's video will make them want to come back It's clearly their way of letting us know they love us the most

music-mix.ew.com/2009/09/11/tokio-hotel-interview/"...half of the emo-pop foursome Tokio Hotel, and with the release of their second U.S. album Humanoid this October, the European superstars seem poised to finally break into America’s mainstream."I know it's a U.S. site and all that, but notice how they say it's a 'U.S. release' rather than a worldwide (supposedly worldwide anyway) release in English...

i dont think it's that they care more about america, its the fact that america opens more doors for them, once all of them doors have been opened them they are ALLL OURS..either that or they will go to australia and japan and then we will get them.. hey at least it will happen in the next ten years...not long now I used to hate that they went to america, but since being in a band myself and having considered moving over the pond to give us more opportunities then I can see where they are going... and as everyone always knows save the best til last!!

I think the biggest problem is that they don't believe they have fans in the UK anymore..like Bill says:
"Success is like a drug,” Bill says. “We want to be successful everywhere. But if not, at least we can go on vacation to London.”
They really don't think they're wanted here.. So what if we send some sort of petition and we get as many signatures as possible on it to prove they have enouh fans here for them to visit?
Probably a pointless idea but nevermind =/

I really think that comment was not to be taken too seriously - it was just a joke.
Trust me, they DO know they have fans here, and that we desperately want them to come here.
We don't really know what the problem is - probably a mixture of things, but it isn't because they think they don't have fans here.
Having said that, we should never pressume we don't have to keep up our efforts to bring them back! All we can do is continue to show the band our support and strive to increase the size of the fanbase here. The bigger it is, the harder it will be for them to ignore it!
