Sorry for making a new thread every time I find a new obsession, but I've had no complaints so far Since he won The Eurovision Song Contest (for Norway), I've become quite the fan of Mr. Rybak, and his song, Fairytale, has been played countlessly on my computer and phone. It's my 'freedom' song at the moment, for when I need to escape I've always liked the violin and I think Alex's accent goes well with his singing and fabulous violin playing. Winning the song contest may either take him off high in the music world or he might just get forgotten like most other song contest winners. I think if he is forgotten, I'd like being a fan of a more low-key musician, as I'm into so many massive artists Anyway, here's an example of his lovely skills:

I think he's gorgeous! XD And thanks for the information Pev, I'll buy his album defo. He was in my top 5 to win Eurovision actually, and I feel like he deserved to win it as he has so much talent. I'd sooo love to go to Eurovision next year but I'd have to convince my family, since their idea of a great holiday is the sun, sea and sand. Congrats to lucky you though!

Yeah, don't worry However the album will only be out in certain countries. It'll actually be out on May 29th in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. June the 2nd in Norway and the 3rd in Sweden. And then the 4th in Finland. So I'll do some internetting to find the best places that sell it and put the links on here ;D I think the ones I wanted to win the most were Sweden, Portugal, Norway ( ), Iceland, Russia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Moldova, Estonia and Germany.

Not many, but those were the only ones I really liked. The rest were a bit cheesy. And to stay on topic, I'm absolutely happy that Alexander and his back-up singers and dancers won it for Norway.
And in case you didn't watch it, here's the track that won the award for Norway ;D

Oh, yeah, there could have been worse winners Like the UK entry. I really didn't like that. Sounded like Leona Lewis and I hate her as well... Sooo, next years will be in Norway I wonder if they'll be good hosts. I always pay attention to the way a country hosts it
