I didn't know whether I should post this or not, but i've just read on throcks.com that apparently Tom has assaulted a fan. I was just wondering if anybody else has heard about it  It's not a v.good translation btw, but that's all that was on the site. Tom Kaulitz (19), guitarist of the band and twin brother of the singer Bill (19), met a female fan at a petrol station in Hamburg. The 21 years old girl says, that the musican gave her a punch in her face in the late wednesday evening, that’s what the police found out at thursday.
The woman, who was there together with 4 friends, noticed Kaulitz in his car and knocked at his window to take a photo of the 19 years old guy.
After the description of the woman, the Tokio-Hotel-star let the window down and threw a cigarette at her, that she took from the ground and put it out on his window. So he stepped out of his car and should’ve hit her.
The woman got a swelling bellow her eye and called the police.
By their arrivial, Kaulitz was already driven away, so they couldn’t ask for his side of the story. The 19 years old guy will get the opportunite to say something to this case, said a policeman. |

Unfortunately yes. 
I've seen many comments defending him but I can't.
Yes, these 'fans' were apparently harassing him and damaging his car, but violence is never the answer and he apparently drove away which may have made the situation worse.
However we don't know if all these claims are true representations of what happened.
Very sad state of affairs.

Yes, we don't know what exactly happened only that unfortunately something did happen and so far it looks very much like Tom made a mistake.
We shouldn't jump to conclusions or unnecessary speculations yet though. Not until we get an official statement which I'm sure will follow at some point. Let's just wait for that and take the discussion from there.
It's hard but let's try and wait for a statement that does not include contradicting and confusing news reports. I know it's not easy but it'll be the best for now.

Woah, I hadn't heard anything until this.
If all that is said there is true, that's rather shocking... but lets wait for an official statement from someone.

Please be sensible about this... Comments like "go Tom" are just not appropriate. Just as isn't judging before getting a full statement. At the moment it's all very confusing and I'm sure we're all waiting for more details to get our heads around.

Agreed, Susi. Guys, if it turns out (and we don't know yet as no statement has been released as of yet) he DID hit her; I don't think it's a laughing matter nor a 'GO TOM' matter.
Violence isn't something to be laughed at, nor tolerated. Especially against a woman - even if she was bothering him a lot. Please, as Midori said - be sensible.

I don't think he hit her, and even if he did he can't have hit her that hard because the girl wasn't exactly in any rush to get checked out by a doctor in that video :/

Thats not the story i heard on MSN.de
i heard he was in a fight at the gas station and just punched some random women
theres diffrent stories floating about
but tom such a sweet guy and bill would probely go mad at him
i HIGHLY DOUBT tom would assult a women

The police have a CCTV tape so hopefully this should make things clearer. However the reporter that saw this tape, said that someone (he wasn't sure at the point of the interview if it was Tom though it looked like him) got out of the car and hit the girl in the face. We know that media always like to exaggerate things but there will be very likely some truth in it. We'll just have to wait for an official statement to get an additional perspective of things. So far it's rather one-sided. We can't really judge anything that presumably has happened or any person involved yet.

Of course you're entitled to your opinions but I think there's a time and place to voice them and I reckon that's not it right now to post rather pointless comments like that - with all due respect and I personally don't want to offend anyone, nor do I want any members on here feel offended. So please just consider this when posting. This is not an easy subject... even though it might seem to be for some of you.
