Because we talked about it last time I've created a facebook event for this MU. This also allows none forumers but usual suspects for attending to RSVP. If you invite people (and feel free) can you try to keep it to people you know (ie not just the whole contacts list)?
Okies Char! It's no problem so long as I know on Thursday 26th at the latest (or by Friday 27th by text)

Yeah my friends are the same Char  they think I'm crazy for meeting up with people I've only chatted to over a forum XD plus not many of them are into TH. Oh well, their loss :-) |

I'm going away to Turkey for two weeks this friday. I'll try and log in over there but in all likelihood I wont be able to.
When I'm back I'll update the front page with any changes.
Do you think there's any way to notify the SW non forum ST/fanclub members of this MU? Just a thought - spread the love and all hehe!

Sorry for the double post but I wanted to make sure that people saw there was new info here even though everyone's been contacted.
Due to adverse weather we are changing the picnic to Wagamama. All else should be the same.
Can I remind people to let me know of train stations and times if they want a pick up?

Wow, no-one has written about this since it happened! I've been away all weekend so I, at least, have an excuse!
I think I can safely say that we all had an absolutely brilliant time. From the word go it started well with us giving a flyer (expertly designed by Shula!) to some flashmobbers. We had a fantastic meal and the weather was actually good enough for us to eat outside after all.
We then proceeded to terrorize Exeter in a completely friendly way, of course, and stuck of flyers and sticky notes. Naturally we also had a little shopping time... okay, quite a lot! I did take some photos but not nearly as many as usual... I'll put a couple up later.
I can't wait until next time!

The meet up was awsome!! seeing everyone again was great meeting shula was awsome!!! Cant wait until we can have another one! and im guessing thats gonna be october time in the half term ?!? Anyway had a great time will post the few pics i took up soon!

October half term will be tricky for Aimee and I as usual and I think Helzy said it would be for her so maybe the first weekend in November would be better? Either way, I can't wait!!!

Oh yes, please post some pics and maybe also one that shows the flyer you guys handed out! Would be lovely to hear more details (how many of you were there? Flashmobbers? Did you get some feedback from people?) but sounds as if you had a great time and I'm happy that you had good weather, too. It's so freakingly unpredictable these days.
I'm happy you guys organised a MU etc. It's really cool and lovely to meet up with fellow UK fans and friends from the forum. Can't wait for pics! ;D

I'm not looking forward to some of the pics since they ambushed me and Char with cameras when eating XD was really great meeting you all especially since you're all just as crazy as I am haha I'm game for another meet-up whenever :-) we didn't really get any feedback from people but had a good time posting the flyers around so hopefully we've converted a couple of people haha ooh and the flashmobbers that Aimee wanted to join in with were awesome XD and Midori: the flashmobbers were in the middle of the Blue Boy square in Exeter as soon as we got there so we decided to watch them while waiting for other people to turn up and they gave us flyers so we gave them one in return haha and there was about six of us there (I think) which was good and not overwhelming since it was the first time I'd met everyone haha
