Maybe start a thread with date and location options in a poll to get things going. You can create a poll where you list a few date suggestions and location options and make it so that everybody can give two votes (one for date and one for the location). Or you can open two new threads for either but that might get a bit too much.
A poll like this will help you to make a decision and will also give you an idea about feedback and how many fans are interested.

Well, I can help with putting the poll up if nobody knows how to do it. You just need to give me a list with date and location suggestions because I don't know anything about your region.
However, the poll would only be the first step of organising a meet up but it would be a start. Just don't make the date too soon if you're not sure about organising anything.
You could always wait until there has been a regional leader appointed for the South East but this might take a while because we need to look into it. Sort through applications (if anybody wants to apply, check out our website for the form and info on requirements etc) and even get some more applications in first. It's one of the responsibilities of a regional leader to take charge of regional meet ups.
