I didn't really know where to post what I wanted to say, so I thought I'd open a general thread for speculating and discussion.
I just read this:
Dear Tokio Hotel fans, Although the Jingle Ball line-up is subject to change, we understand that some of you may have purchased tickets specifically because of the Tokio Hotel performance. Tokio Hotel had previously agreed to perform at Jingle Ball 2008; however, they chose to cancel as the band’s management team scheduled a conflicting commitment for them in Europe.For ticket refund information please contact Ticketmaster at 215-336-2000 or bring tickets to the point of purchase no later than Friday, December 5, 2008. Refunds will not be offered after Friday, December 5, 2008.

That performance was scheduled for December 14th.
Sooooooooo, do we know what the band are doing on that date in Europe? I'm just curious that whatever it is hasn't been announced. Do we think they will be promoting their DVD in Europe??

Maybe its not anything ON that particular day Claire
maybe its something around that time but because of the time flights take and jet lag etc they wouldnt be able to make it? it would be hard on anyone to fly from europe to the US and back again for just one day
just a thought ;D

True, but it would have to be something around that date, no? And as far as I'm aware, they don't have anything scheduled for Europe in December...
I just like to think positive about something happening for Europe in December! It would really help the spirits of the European fans at that time.

Ooo, it would be great if they are gonna do something. The European fans really need it. I would imagine it has something to do with the dvd.
But even if they aren't doing anything much, I'm glad they aren't returning to the US. They've worked so frigging hard this year. I really want to see them relax a little at home and just have some time to recharge.

Yeah, but that's only a couple isn't it? Early on. But yeah, maybe they would have stayed and not travelled in between.
Ah well, whatever the case, it's nice to know Europe has come first for once ;D

I'm a bit late here but: GET IN! If they are doing something in Europe I'm so glad, they've been ignoring this side of the world recently. Maybe they were too exhausted though, and just want to go home to their families for Christmas? I love the idea of the boys spending christmas with their extended families, wearing silly hats around the dinner table, eating FAR too much, laughing as granny gets drunk then falling asleep infront of a naff film wearing their new pyjamas and slippers. Aaaah... I think I drifted off a little there. Cosy TH scene!

Rumours have it that TH are currently in London shooting a new video and Bill still has the dreads according to a Swedish fansite.
I'm not sure if its 100% true.
