The download link for the first issue can be found in the start post of this thread. It's only one link though. So only the pdf (no gifs) on mediafire.

Hey guys, If anyone has trouble downloading this issue, here's a direct link: www.tokiohotelstreetteam.co.uk/press/00_MONSUN2_A9.pdfYou must have Adobe Acrobat or Foxit reader (or basically anything that reads pdf files) to view it. It's worth downloading, IMO. I think my interview is pretty good lol and the rest of the fanzine is so much fun! Claire

In a moment of madness, I printed the whole thing off. I think it should be a very nice read for my boring evenings... IT LOOKS WONDERFUL!

The download link for issue 1 can be found in the start post, Pev.
Monsun is a fanzine that two Austrian fans (Ziggy and Onerva) came up with. They've got a few other fans involved to write mostly reviews and also to provide photos.
Issue 3 is planned for March.

It's very interesting. Like a new side and new views on Tokio Hotel. I really admired the interview with Claire. It wasn't all "Oh Tokio Hotel is wonderful and we hope to see them in the UK", instead it was to the point and told the real reasons about the situation that UK fans are in and that they are being almost neglected as a country (is the UK a country?!). That's why I like the THUKST leaders. They are assertive and work hard for the group. I also liked the answer to the question "What does this band have that other bands don't? Why are they so special?" The answer wasn't something like "Because the band and the music is great", it told the truth, and it's a truth that many fans would deny, despite knowing that it is how things are. I completely agree that without Bill and his twin, Tokio Hotel wouldn't be what it is, and the band as a whole is a big reason for their success as well as the music. Well done Claire! The only thing that confused me was why the magazine told us how to say "to f*ck" in German...

I'm desperate to review this magazine now! I have so many vews on it! One thing I'd like to point out is that I personally (others may disagree) found it reasonably negative AT TIMES towards Tokio Hotel. As I've said, I enjoyed the talking about the UK and how it's not getting any Tokio Hotel attention, and that was good, but then the negativity seemed to go on a bit. It went onto the Jingle Ball, which just seemed to describe how Tokio Hotel's performance was just a playback and Tom wasn't taking much part (the others seeming tired). Here, I thought "Well, that's fair enough..." but then it went onto Caught on Camera. Yes, it described that it was a good present for a fan and enjoyable to watch, but then it went on about how it lacked live material, had bad quality sound and was comparable to something from the internet. Once again, I thought this was a fair point, but the majority of the magazine now seemed to be a lot of moaning about Tokio Hotel, along with the lovely bits (I don't want it tosound like I hated the magazine- I found it wonderful, but I want to share my views on this certain matter!). I was more relieved at the review of the fan party. This person actaully seemed to enjoy it, despite the band hardly showing their faces. But that review described how the person enjoyed the party, rather than moaned about the lack of live performances and the presence of the boys. So overall, I think it covers some good points, but I'd prefer a magazine written by fans to be a little less negative about the band- some 'negative' views are good, but I personally feel that there are quite a few in the magazine. Anyway, I'm just finishing it off, but I just wanted to get that thought across!

Pev - it might be worthwhile sending your thoughts to the Monsun team. The team is a group of long time fans of Tokio Hotel. What's interesting is how fans at different stages of their love of the band respond differently. Primarily Monsun is there is mock - that's why they have stuff like Stalking for Dummies, etc - but, they also have another agenda and that's to put their own point of view across. The honesty of the review of the Jingle Ball is to cause controversy - personally I had already read it on a different message board and didn't pay attention to it in the magazine. I also, like you, completely disagree with their review of the DVD. I love the DVD and thought it was great value. Leela and I laughed all the way through and really enjoyed ourselves.
When the band release new material, there may turn out to be a shift in the tone of the magazine, but don't count on it. It's there to stir things up and parody a little bit (Bill barbie doll, for instance) and is not meant to be a serious look at the band and fans.
Claire x

Thank you for saying that. I have a good idea on the concept of the magazine now. I'm not too bothered by the magzine, but I thought I should mention that. I shall look into contacting the Monsun team

Huge thanks for all your feedback here. Was great to read <3 We know. It wasn't planned that the second issue would turn out so negative. But we let various people write articles this time, and somehow most of them ended up being a bit negative, for various reasons. That's why we decided to add those 10 tipps to keep your TH!love alive, btw ^^ Anyway, we are currently very busy working on issue 3, which will come out in march; to Georg's B-Day We already managed to get interviews with some very very awesome people so you can definitely look forward to it
