Well at least now I know who actually buys Scooter albums...it was a mystery to me before! midori (sorry don't know your name) all that 2007 stuff sounds majorly complicated but I dunno...I think the UK is deceptively hard to crack...especially with radio one having so much power these days. I love that radio station but I don't understand the way they put their playlists together/decide to be snobbish to some bands and singer's but not others. And the 'is TH over?' talk is tiring...it's like even the 'fans' would like to see them fail sometimes. But I dunno, I think if they get enough support from a record company they could make it here. They just need to try again lol

My name is Susi (just like Tom's imaginary tour masseuse in 2007).
I don't even listen to radio. When I used to have a TV the only station I would listen to was Kerrang! radio.
Anyway, back in 2007 THUKST had a postcard fan action going on for Radio 1. Sending in requests for RSG... until the UK label asked us to stop! They never explained why but the fan action ended there. So yeah, "complicated" is definitely a good word to use.

I think I'm glad I didn't really know of them on 07. I would have been devastated.

Hey Turner and Midori! It's nice to finally speak to other TH fans, I've never seen or heard of anyone around my area who likes them Everytime I go out in my Tokio gear I can always hear someone saying 'Who are them Weirdo's on her jacket?' or 'Ha, look at that gay girl on her bag!' Seriously, I just wish people would learn to grow up Though it amuses me when I hear them, They haven't got a clue.
Anyways (Ranting over ) My name is Mel/Melissa and I've been a fan of TH since August 07 So far I know of no other Tokio fans in Wakefield Though slowly I'm getting some of the Lads from my year into them It took about 3 months, but now most of them know the lyrics to Monsoon ;D Kind of. Though I was upset about the fact that I missed their gig in London in 07 but when Humanoid was released I thought they'd come back So much for a 'European tour' eh? The fact that they weren't going to make an Appearence here was quite shocking really and I couldn't go watch it in Paris but meh, I have my Live in Milan DVD
Also, I saw a Guy in Kippax not long since with a Tokio Hotel shirt on If we hadn't have been in a rush I might have chained myself to him He had long black hair and looked slightly Oriental, Ring any bells?

Well I won't forget your name in a hurry then! He should have interviewed you or something! How weird...why on earth would they ask you all to stop? Gah. I can't get my head around it, must have been awful for all of you who were involved at the time. I think I'm glad I didn't really know of them on 07. I would have been devastated. Same here. It all sounds like one big headache. I'm annoyed enough currently that they don't come here, let alone if I'd been involved in trying to promote them here to then have it all suddenly collapse. Hey Mel! *waves* I've heard 'gay' and 'girl' before in Bill insults but I've never heard them used in the same sentence

i got the same sort of comments at 6th form whenever i wore a band t-shirt, there ended up being a sort of vote, between those who thought Bill was a girl and those who thought he was a guy, happy to say that more than 50% thought he was a guy, result!

Aww, it's so lovely to read your posts and to hear from people from the "area". I always carry my white bag with the Bill "Passion for Music" pic on it around with me but so far I haven't heard any comments yet. Maybe one day. ;D
Great that you got some people kind of liking the band and knowing the Monsoon lyrics, Mel. Must have been annoying that you missed the show by, like, two months. We were all hoping the UK would get at least a release when "Humanoid" was about to be publish but oh well... as long as we don't give up there's always hope.
I was wondering about that "Lauren" thing... when did that happen and is that your middle name or something? I was rather confused when I noticed it the first time. I stick to calling you Turner.
Personally, I only got actively involved with THUKST when this forum here opened, so September 2007, but you didn't have to be an active member to get frustrated. It was enough to just be a UK fan to know that something just wasn't going too well with the release and stuff. It was a bit like one of the UK fans wrote for our Final Day fan action some time ago... kind of like watching a car crash and not being able to do anything or much.
Yeah, no idea, why the label back then asked for the postcard fan action to be stopped. They didn't give a reason or anything.
However, doesn't mean we can't have some fun with each other and still enjoy the band and their music.
The Live DVD is fantastic. Maybe we'll get a chance and all watch it together some time.

It is my middle name and I used it for a long time in my blog when I was trying to be anonymous. It seems its finally beginning to stick, despite it being random. I'd love to watch the dvd with everyone. It'd be nice to go to a proper meet-up. The only one i went to was France, and i barely saw anyone as we all went different ways.

hey, just watched the audi A1 behind the scenes type video, is it just me or has Bill got blonde highlights again? Could just be reflecting from the lights, or bad quality video on my phone, but it does look slightly blonde
