A Boffin or Boff is someone who's really bright. Probably likes learning...maybe a geek or teachers pet though that is not a requirement.

Easiest for the location question would be to open a new thread and start a poll. Other things need to be considered though e.g. a place in the "middle" where most people could get to and also transport links. Every region will have their leader to oversee and organise those things so don't get ahead of yourselves just yet. Wait for a regional leader to be appointed  Until then get to know your fellow "local" fans on here. Nothing wrong with that.

maybe we should make a map of the south west and then put little dots where everyone is. I'm sure I'd heard a way in which you can find a place same distance from lots of points. Any one good at maths?
