I started college on thursday and ive already got enough homework to last me the weekend.
The dress code has just changed as well and ive got to wear a suit like thing
i'll get round to posting pictures soon of it but i feel like im twenty-something and going to a job interview not school. Also i have the same four lessons everyday (five on two days) for the next year.
but overall its alright i guess
im in cambridge on monday and tuesday for a residential so thats something to look forward to

My lessons are ok. My Film Studies teacher is mental and my English class is boring, but its all good. I have people to talk to and I have fun =3

My life is so backwards. I work like hell all summer, so after next week I go into relax mode. I am going to take a couple of days off to chill with my flatmate (maybe see Wicked!) and then I'm just going to wait until they announce where it will be and I'm going to bust my *ss to get to the TH 'fan party' in a generic European city. LOL.
I am thinking about picking up a new course or something. I already have qualifications coming out of my ears, so I'm thinking something fun. Film Studies sounds ace, Kraig, is it any good? Maybe I'll do another GCSE or something. It's either that or join pottery classes with old folk, and I don't want to do that. I did a creative writing class a few years ago and it was awful. It was called creative writing, but it was actually 'how to write the kind of sh*t they print in Women's Own, The Lady, Bella, etc.' Urgh, it was horrid. LOL. And the woman asked me why I'd never tried to get anything I'd written published, etc, and all I wanted to say is: 'I don't write this kind of nuts. If I want to publish my writing it would be by a real publisher for people with a few brancells'.
Sorry for the random rant. LOL!

Started year 13 this september, went back to school on thursday but had to go in the day before to do all the induction stuff with year 7s. My timetables ok got 3/5 afternoons free, its going ok so far just gettin annoyed with the uniform i'm 18 in 2 weeks and still in school uniform yuck! At least its only a year till Uni woo!

I started year 11 on thursday, i only had 3 lessons, but they were all media studies!! Back to uniform though!!  i havent worn it for so long i forgot how to do up my tie!! |

@claire: Film Studies is awesome. We've not done much so far but we're watching four films at some point. So far we've found out what makes film popular and why people watch them, and why people choose to go to the cinema instead of wait for the DVD. Pretty cool so far.
The movies we're watching are two British horror movies then two American ones (not horror though XP) Not a clue what else we're gonna do yet though =3

I went back today and gosh, I nearly cried when I came to school. I didn't wanna be there, I didn't wanna see the kids there, I didn't wanna work, I didn't. I felt terrible, it's alright though, we only had french homework today but normally we have tonnes of homework =/ We start at 9.00am and go to 3.45pm =/ I just gotta think positive though^^ We only go half days until wednesday so that's pretty good. I hope this year goes freaking quick! LOL.

Agreed, Holly, THERE IS ALWAYS TOO MUCH HOMEWORK! *cries* I also have to do my German coursework soon It's gonna take ages but at least I'll actually enjoy it *is doing it about German music  * I also have loads of Psychology to do, and I have no idea how to do it. The only thing I don't officially have homework from is English, and even then I have to revise because I'm retaking the exams in January. >.< |
