Just make sure your message isn't longer than 30 seconds (ha ha, a 30 seconds to mars song came up just now) because they won't accept it if it is longer.

One of the mods on the German forum posted an update saying:
To make it clear: We only accept audio files, no videos and no .amr-files.
(Some fans were sending videos because instructions were translated incorrectly on some forums, so it was a bit confusing.)
Anyway, make sure your audio file is in one of the three formats mentioned in the start post. They won't and/or can't use others.

Surely made me laugh too! ;D Should you record this you must let us have a listen.
Oh, and maybe you should include the lyrics in your mail when you send it. Obviously it won't be included in the Birthday present but they will listen to all the messages when putting the CD together to make sure everything is appropriate. So just for their information, in case they can't keep up or misunderstand it. 
And guys, just in general, feel free to mention you're from the UK in your messages.  However, no "come to the UK!!!" etc! It's a birthday message, yes?! It's about wishing Gustav all the best and it was just said that fans could include their names and where they're from.
