As most of you probably know there will be a show case in Tokyo by Tokio Hotel on 26th November. We all know just how important it is for the guys to play there. A little while back we received information that the club (Duo Music Exchange) in Tokyo agreed to pass on little things to the band if fans would sent something in and we thought we should really take this opportunity to wish them good luck and show our support.
Unfortunately time is running out and we have to act fast so we tried to think of something that would be easy and quick. Here’s the idea (thanks to Mika): Origami with a short message.
We narrowed the choices down to three things that according to Japanese tradition bring luck. (Thanks to Kiri for the information)
The crane is a symbol of longevity and well-being, it encourages positive career prospects, it brings wealth, fame and talent. Because of its long legs which keep its body away from the mud, it also symbolises purity. It's the most famous origami model and it is used as an object of peace.

Frogs inspire quick thinking, fast reactions and leaps of activity and are bearer of gold and silver, if placed behind a house front door they will attract wealth into the household.

Red hearts symbolise romance and can be used to encourage good relationship prospects.

The rules:
Apologies should you find the rules a bit harsh. It's just the lack of time which means we have to be strict to ensure this project doesn't go out of hand.
PLEASE NOTE that at this stage we cannot guarantee that our origamis will be forwarded to the band. All we have is the agreement by the club that sent things will be passed on to the band – no guarantees though. Sorry.

The rules:
- This is open for fans all over the world. We do realize it might not be possible for all nationalities to participate due to the short notice given but unfortunately there’s nothing we can do about that.
- One origami per person! Don’t send in more than one per person because then we will have to choose which one to take. We won’t take all of them so don’t invest time in quantity but quality.
- You can customise your origami to your liking, e.g. use TH logos.
- Your message must be written on your finished origami or it must be attached to it. Be as creative as you like but it needs to be attached!
- No messages longer than 10 words. Remember this is just supposed to show the boys our support and that we wish them well. You can express that in a few words. Don’t write letters as we won’t put them with this project! Save your breathe and use it for your submission for the fan book.
- Your origami needs to be flat so you can send them in envelopes. Don’t worry, they work flat just as fine and don’t lose any of their sense.
- Deadline: All origamis must be received by 20th November 2007 and no later otherwise we can't take them.
- To get the address where to send your origami to just pm me.
