I seriously doubt the mane is history. Everyone likes a change now and then, and like Susi said, time has to be an issue sometimes, with a schedule like theirs.
Though I have to say, I do really love it like this 
But yeah ... the mane will return, lol

I think Bill likes to have a versatile look and I've noticed that he tends to go for the lion's mane for gigs and performances, and hair down for public appearances. But, I think he likes to swap and change to keep us on our toes. I'm very partial to hair down. I find the lion's mane in all black a little harsh for his face.

Aww he still has the Eyebrow stud in and no ring.
It's a little odd without the ring lol but still at least he isn't getting rid of it.
I don't find the lion mane all black harsh for his face, I think it shows off his features more

I think Tom must be phasing out his caps, or he just couldnt be bothered to put one on  I really like Bills stud, i think its because its black not silver like the ring. I love the colour of his hair too |

You have to check out the updates on our website and watch the video for the radio interview with Frankie V. So funny! I'm only half way through myself but it already amused me greatly. Funny how Bill comes up with all the English pronunciations for German names lately. First Magdeburg, this time he's giving advise on how to say Gustav. Ha ha. And then the question about what possession they'd like to have if they could only have one and Bill sees the fans outside... Just have a look, it's really worth watching. ;D

I have to agree with Claire, the mane is a little harsh all in black, the blonde streaks softened it a bit. Saying that, that boy could make ANYTHING look good.
