Hey Canada!

Tokio Hotel has just released their Schrei Live DVD in our country - how awesome is that?!
In honour of the release, the band has announced a new contest, the prize being an autographed t-shirt and poster. All you have to do is submit a picture of yourself with the DVD, and fill out the form on the website.

The submission site is tokiohotel.pop24.de/tokiohotel2/specials/ca/dvdcontest200807/index_en.php, and you have until August 30th to enter!

and now, a new from mexico:

As I’m sure you’ve all heard by now, Tokio Hotel will be going to Mexico at the end of the month to play a show. We’ve finally got all the information (except for the actual day, although we believe it will be August 30th), so here are the main points:

Organized by two radio stations - 97.7 and 91.3 Alfa Radio.
It will be a festival-type event where a number of bands will be playing and Tokio Hotel will be one of them.
The event is organized by the two radio stations listed above. Tickets will be acquired through games on the stations and they may be given out around the city.
There may be a Meet & Greet, but that hasn’t yet been confirmed.
For all the information as posted by a member of the Official Mexican Fanclub, look below the break.

I was laughing when the guy talked briefly about sarcasm. Oh yeah, us Germans do know sarcasm. Ha ha.
I also liked when he "told them off" for teasing Georg all the time... and Bill's little jump towards the window and him showing the size of his suitcases. ;D Not to forget about Tom having a suitcase full of "cats". *lol*

MuchMusic Channel To Air VMAs And Red Carpet Show Live

Canada (CNS) - MuchMusic has announced that Canada will get the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards live on TV and online, according to a press release.

This Thursday, Aug. 7, the VMAs hype will hit Mtvvma.ca. An exclusive, live Canadian red carpet show will be shown on the Web site at 7:30 p.m. EST. The Web site will also feature photos and videos from previous VMAs, blog recaps and extensive coverage of the upcoming VMAs weekend.

Then, the music channel will air the shows live on Sept. 7, starting with the red carpet show at 8 p.m. and moving onto the VMAs at 9 p.m. EST.

Nominees for some of the shows awards have already been revealed - for Best Pop Video, the contenders include Britney Spears, Panic at the Disco, Tokio Hotel, Danity Kane, and the Jonas Brothers.

Lil Wayne will perform at the show, MuchMusic announces.

MTV's 25th annual Video Music Awards will be hosted by Russell Brand ("Forgetting Sarah Marshall").

Woo, I'm loving Georg at the moment and I can't believe the twins called Georg FAT!
Is it me or is Bill standing like a girl there?!

Personally I'm finding the Georg jokes too weird. Firstly, I can't stand it when they call him George. It sounds so wrong. Then Bill trying to get on the bandwagon. It's kind of irritating.

Though the fact that all their jokes fall flat and no one understands anyone else is making me love them even more. I can't stop laughing! LOL.
