Hey guys,
I just want to say that I don't think anyone should spend too much time on this. /b/ - former TH fan antagonists and riggers of the EMAs 2008 for Rick Astley - have picked up on the Kerrang Awards again and are using imacros to vote DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince as best International Band. They already have: 77280 votes.
Internet polls that can be manipulated, like the Kerrang one, are just a disaster now. /b/ are fairly dull and come back to this trick often. Since TH is not theoretically eligible for any of the awards anyway, I would suggest this isn't the best use of your time.
Furthermore, /b/ are waiting for TH fans to come out of the woodwork for this, so I'd rather not get into a battle with them again. Our site might get attacked and, given that Kerrang never acknowledge TH, I don't think it's worth it.

Again?! :lame: They're really sad.
I've registered and voted once in all the categories (obviously appropriate votes and not TH in every single one). That was as much as I intended to do and that won't change. At least it'll keep the name "Tokio Hotel" floating about and shows we're still around. hehe Getting nominated is highly unlikely anyway, so let them just go ahead with their manipulating.
Once again :lame:

I think it's really pathetic that Kerrang don't change the voting system so that it can't be manipulated. Even if these bands win after fans have voted for them by cheating, it won't mean anything, at least not in my eyes. At the end of the day, cheating is cheating.

Usually they apparently just don't take in the votes that were "cheated" but I agree about changing the voting system. I really think they should do that... especially with the troubles with crashing servers in the past etc. But oh well. It's up to them.

Yeah, but it's Kerrang!'s problem if they don't change the way how voting works. As long as TH fans don't use autovoters I don't really care what other fans are doing. I'm not a big fan of how the K! voting work but it's up to them.

Just wanted to say that the voting for this year's Kerrang! Awards has started a while ago.
I voted for Tokio Hotel in some categories and filled in the rest respectively, so no spamming and no leaving blanks. TH won't win anything but I still like to keep their name floating around and remind people that us fans are still around no matter what happened in the past.
If you also want to vote you have to register and please take it seriously not like something where you put TH in every category just for fun.
I voted TH as best live, best international band and Humanoid as best album.

This is rather random so I'm not opening a new thread for it but Kerrang! is asking what rocked our world in the past decade and to post our favourite track. Maybe some of you want to head over to their site and leave a comment for Durch den Monsun/Monsoon.

Yes, good point. Whereas DdM is memorable because it was released 5 years ago and still - half a decade later - is a live favourite and fans still aren't sick of hearing it (most of the fans anyway), RSG is especially memorable because it was the only UK release so far.
Thanks for commenting, guys. ;D Always good to keep the "Tokio Hotel" name out and about.
