What is DofE, Natty. I have no clue. ha ha
My highlight was having a laugh even if it was a short one. It was York Races again today (horse races). I don't like the races, it's basically being surrounded by drunk people all day.
Anyway, after the races were finished three couples came into the hotel and to the reception desk where I was. We have huge maps of York lying there for sale so this guy starts asking me for directions and whether there would be a pub on the way. I said yes etc and tell him the name and he wanted to know more and started talking funny (they were a bit tipsy but not that drunk) and then said: "I don't know why I'm talking to you like you were foreign." and sounded really apologetic about it and his friends were having a giggle because he's making a bit of a fool out of himself. Until then none of them had realized I am in fact foreign so I grinned and said "Well... I am." and everybody just burst out laughing. That was quite a funny moment.

DofE is the Duke of Edinburgh award. You do 4 parts, service (helping people) Sport, Skills (like playing an instrument and that) and expeditions. I just got back from a sliver practice expidition and we walked... 30 miles I think it was. With huge bags and stuff. And camped... it's evil. Anyway, back on topic. Highlight = I got to go shopping and got new makeup! Lowlight = Way too much coursework to do before tomorrow. History, English, PSE, and Food technology. Help. |

Highlight - I phoned up about a job and i have an interview tomorrow
Lowlight - The guy i really like LOADS is leaving .. My mum got the dates mixed up..He's leaving Tuesday not tomorrow but gahh i don't want him to go ..
So yeh the lowlight far outweighs the highlight
But he said he'd write ..And i'm hoping he'll keep to that promise

Highlight - I met my friend Sophia for the first time today, and she is so amazing. n,n and we spoke to these Mexican guys who were cool.

Highlight: Lewis won the German grand prix (OMG OMG OMG YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY XD), and the race was pretty d**n amazing!! Thinking about the amount of skill those guys have got just makes my head hurt =S They're fabby =D
Mini-highlight: I knew the track really well 'cos it's in a driving game of mine, so I didn't get confused as to where they were on the track =3

My highlight was at the end of my shift. Not because I could go home but because our nightporter asked me what "nothing" means in German. I replied "nichts", his eyes widened and he burst out laughing which made me laugh. He tried to say it, couldn't quite do it so both of us were having a real good laugh and he tried to get me to say it again which I could barely do due to laughing so much. I tried to get his pronunciation of "ch" right which was ok in the end but I don't think "nichts" is a word he'll be using much in the future. Took me ages to teach him "Viel Spaß!" because he kept saying "Viel Schnaps!". *lol*

Highlight - Came back from Paris today. Me and the sister were ready to kill each other xD
Lowlight - My bedroom door got painted white. Mother seemed to have forgotten that i HATE the doors painted white. Ew.

Highlight - I went to Sheffield today and got a new top and some CD's n.n and found out I had more money than I thought

Lowlight: Went to a funeral today. I promised myself I wouldn't cry, but that awful sad atmosphere you always get at funerals got me in the end ='[
It was horrible.
Highlight: When I got home there was loads of post waiting for me.
I love getting post =3
-My friend from Singapore sent me what I like to call an 'anime goody-box' for my bday =] It was full of anime related DVDs, games, CDs etc ^___^
-Then my other friend from round the corner delivered loads of her dads old top gear mags (her dad subscribes, and 'cos I cant afford them all (£3.95 each!!!), I beg him for them lol). And one of the mags came with a magnetic cool wall which will rightfully take it's place on our fridge soon =]
-Bday prezzies arrived from my family aswell =]
So even though I had a crap day, I'm still in a pretty good mood =]
EDIT: oh, oh, and my uncle's friend is a professional photographer of F1 drivers and F1 cars, and he says that next photoshoot, he will try and get me as many drivers autographs as possible =D *happy!happy!*
