I'm not sure whether Natalie is a really common name or not... I only know 2 people called that at my school... And my nickname isn't all that amazing. Oh well I do get called Nain by one of my mates cause if you swap the letters of my name round, that's what you get. Natalie Stain = Statalie Nain. Yeah, we get bored.

My name is also pretty common, especially here in Wales. Rhiannon. But at least it's better than some of the things my parents were going to call me in the first place.

Elizabeth is actually such a common name. I know about 5 IRL *it's funny, too, because my brother's dating another Elizabeth >.< We always get confused* That's why I insist that people either call me Liz, Truby or Morag *my middle name* I love my middle name, its so cool ^.^

My name is Susi. It's a very common nickname... at least in Germany. Susan/Susanne are very common names in Germany. I had at least five girls with those names in my year in school and it's also the name of my best friend's mum. "Susi" is the short form/nick name for those. It's not as common as an actual name so I got the odd "What's your real name then? Susan or Susanne?" - "It's Susi." - "Just Susi?" - "Yeah." conversation but that's ok because I'd hate to be called Susanne. I like being called Susi. My grandma didn't like it and tried to get it changed to Susanne but luckily she couldn't. *he he* My great-grandma was a bit "shocked" too when she heard, exclaiming "But we've got a cow with that name!" However, Susi the cow got a different name and it was fine. Ha ha. My mum named me after Suzi Quatro who she liked. She wanted to spell my name with a z, too, but apparently that wasn't possible in the GDR. *shrugs*
"Susi" is a name that's not taken too seriously. It's a standard name in numerous jokes for the stereotypical cute, little girl with many questions or the rather confused and not so clever blonde girl. It's often associated with hot girls. (Of course that has absolutely nothing to do with why Tom called his imaginary massage therapist like that on the Zimmer 483 DVD. *cough*) I've had it before that a guy said "If you're called Susi and are under 25 you must be hot." Erm... right. I'm a letdown in that respect but never mind. ;D
"susi" is also the Finnish word for "wolf". You can look it up in dictionary if you like.

"If you're called Susi and are under 25 you must be hot." oh yuuuuh!! That guy is awesome. Ima Suzie But also Suzanne (after the Leonard Cohen song of the same name.) That's weird, Susi, about it being common in Germany... I've only met one other Suzanne before. (plenty of Susans, mind you.) I get the whole stereotype thing too, it doesn't really help that I'm small and blonde. People say 'aww aren't you cute' (I HATE being called cute) and people I've just met generally tend to look surprised if I say something of even moderate intelligence. It's good having the two names though, I use Suzanne at work/anything formal, and really do get taken more seriously. It's bizarre how people can be prejudice in relation to one's name :S and 'RippinKittin' well it's what I've used for years on myspace/vf/etc... I like it, no point changing it. (although on more than one occasion I've been on a night out and been accosted by people I don't know saying 'omg you're RippinKittin off myspace! No you don't know me, I've just seen your profile!' Um yeah... because THAT makes me want to talk to you? *backs away slowly*) edit: and are there any Alexs on the ST? In my group of friends at school we had loaads of Alexs, of both sexes. You used to say 'Alex' then have to clarify which one!

I hate my name - it has really harsh constenants (sp?) so its all manly hahaha 'Francesca' - my mum named me Francesca because of the latin meaning ' the free one'... my older sister was Samantha after the listener and my younger sister Georgia was named that because of the song on the radio at the time xD my dad wanted to call me Louisianna and my mum was like NO so its my middle name. apparently if i were a boy i would have been named Kye ( AWESOME!!! xD LOL ) and georgia would have been named rodney xD sorry this is completley off topic - my bad i used to be nick named Cadi because it was my great grangmothers name and i was really close to her ^^ and all my friends and family call me Effy becuase it was softer and easier for the littl'uns to say hahahaha but its back to Fran cos people got too confused ^^

I'm not sure if Stephanie is common, because I don't know many people around my age with my name, I've only ever met two other people with my name. I was named after the German tennis player, Steffi Graf. ;D I was always going to be called Stephanie, (because my Dad was naming me, and euh, he liked Steffi... : and I like it lots, I don't have a problem with it. Although, my middle name, Louise, is pretty common. I know LOADS of people with the middle name Louise. If I was a boy, I would've been called Oliver, so I'm kind of glad I turned out to be a girl. (lol)

My name is Naomi, which is kind of obvious, but it's not a very popular name. It means 'pleasant' (my parents wanted my name to have a meaning, so my middle name is Ruth, which means Friendship. Two and two together, Pleasant Friendship) and OfC? That's short for Of Course. So, it makes Naomi Of Course. Ahaaaaaa cleverrrrrrrrrrrr
