Concert & Feat. 2005 (youtube vids)

Almost three years ago when Tokio Hotel played their first major tour, the Schrei Tour 2005, Viva broadcasted their concert in Cologne as a Viva Special. They had a Tokio Hotel Day full of interview etc repeats and were counting down the hours until the time they were showing the concert later that evening. I watched it when one of my friends came for a visit last year. She had it on tape. I loved it but hadn't seen it ever since. Until last night. I wish this would be available on DVD; I really, really love it. It's so cute. I giggled so much! Ok, I didn't watch everything because I was actually working on something else so I only listened to most of it but yeah. It's very interesting to watch and to see how it compares to their live shows these days. Tom looked kind of frightened during the first song (Jung und nicht mehr jugendfrei) and sometimes it shines through a bit how they were still in awe to play such a big venue (Bill's little comment as he splashes water into the audience, then looks up and says that he wouldn’t be able to reach up there, he believed, followed by a little laughter. It’s just aww. ) Oh, and Bill's how-to-deal-with-a-stunned-fan-girl-on-stage skills - definitely improved since then. I was also amused a lot by how much more he actually mumbled etc (singing and speaking). Think along the lines of "scream" turning into "scweam", just in German, e.g. "Rest" turns into "Röst". Bless. In general his way of talking and sometimes even singing is really cute here due to the changes he had to make because of his voice.
As this was the time when Bill was still struggling with the breaking of his voice it’s really something to watch especially for Gustav fans (and no, I do not mean because he plays the whole show shirtless! ). He is backing up Bill's vocals most of the time. Yeah, Tom and Georg "help" out a bit, too, but it's Gustav who does the heavy lifting here. Listen out for him! Particularly during Gegen meinen Willen, Der letzte Tag and kudos to him for pulling through every “Schrei!” during Schrei. Pay attention to Georg growling the lines of the chorus during Freunde bleiben. *lol*

Ok, enough with the rambling. The concert was put on youtube just over a month ago so I don't know how many of you have already watched it but I thought it deserves its own thread. ;D It’s brilliant! Hope you enjoy it.

well i'm sorry but its because of the fact that they are so young and they look like kids makes me feel a bit of a peadofile watching it lol so thats why i dont paticulay like it that much
