Whenever I try to put up a picture it either doesn't work and comes up with an X in a box or... it doesn't come up at all

you might be using the wrong code?
it's [*img][/img] (without the asterisk)
you might be using '<*img src=*>

plus you need to make sure you have the http:// bit at the beginning of the web url!

I can't get my avatar to work. It's driving me insane.
I've tried three different sites and three different pictures plus Jess has uploaded it and gave me the URL but it still didn't work.
The IMG code worked though. Just not the URL.
