Hi everyone,
With only two full days to go before the fan meet-up, I have become really worried about some of the comments and observations about the forum and forum members. Obviously it is imperitive to me that the fan meet-up is not only a fun day for all of us, but as a group we are representing Tokio Hotel to the public well. Please, you must always remember that this an 'official' street team and we should all be proud of being part of something that the guys know about and support. It's not like a regular official forum that to them would just be grouped into 'fans' - the street team has a good reputation with Tokio Hotel and their management for sticking by them through thick and thin and the guys are fully aware of all of us and the support we give them.
I want everyone to feel a part of the UK Street Team. Not just old members or new members - when you registered makes no difference to me.
The meet-up is being filmed for Tokio Hotel. Do you really want to bring the negativity to camera? We have to stand tall and proud as UK fans because we have to show them that we're amazing and that we're worth coming back for. In-fighting and antagonism does not make us look good. And it doesn't make us feel good either.
I love that we all have our own relationships here. Some people are close with everyone, some have closer friends than others, just like I am closer to the administrators. But, I still care about every single person here with their amazing personalities and quirks.
I'm forever greatful for the support of people like Nicole, Liz, Emzie, Nikki, redsnuffle, who have been around a long time and are always there with a cool and calm attitude.
I adore the banter between people like Amiee, Aerrow, Becky, Ninixx, Kraig and Jess, who give this place spirit and colour and always make me wish I had more time to jump into their conversations.
I admire people like Skye, Snowy, Kim, Robyn, Princess666anne and Kiah, who are honest and forthright and speak their mind.
I miss seeing Kels, Ecomo, Kiri, THkidd, Mika, hellfirejen, Sophs, tokiomayhem around and posting. (I know a few of them are busy.)
I'm loving getting to know Sian, Jenni, Victoriia, xweetokfairy, neonlights, Mariana, Sophie and MissMurder, who have just thrown themselves into the Street Team with gusto.
You are all really awesome and the Street Team and Tokio Hotel is very lucky to have you. So lets put aside whatever has wound everyone up and start with a clean slate. Lets not bring this kind of negativity to the fan meet-up. For most of us it will be the first time we have all met each other and that's something to celebrate. So get excited, feel proud of being part of an amazing community and concentrate on Tokio Hotel - that's what we're here for after all.
We have to support each other - May is already the month of USA and it will only get worse. We need this forum to escape that and get through May. Toegther.
