Oh, another question - if we send you a hard copy, will the letter itself be included or will it just be a reproduction? I.e. is there any point in using shiny things, textured paper, scented paper: junk like that?

If you send a hard copy, as long as you stick to the correct size, it will be included exactly as you send it to me.  Claire |

hey. finished the letter. I'm gonna send it - its slightly too long - but all very relevant. i made sure i never went off on a tangent Is it definite that all entries will be added? because i really want mine added. have you had many sent to you yet? The UK has got representation for definite from me. so this is going to get sent to Tokio Hotel and the band will actually read it? xxx |

I've had a few in so far, so thanks everyone!
Okay, the plan is to give them it personally next time they are in the UK. There was a possibility that might be in November, hence the October closing date, however it may not be then. To be honest, it's such a personal and important project, I want to hand deliver it like I did the scrapbook earlier this year, not send it as it might never reach them. I will keep you all posted on that.

I agree. I wouldn't ask people to put so much effort into it if I wasn't sure I would be able to give it to them. Even if it takes me a while, I won't let it hang around on some record label assistant's desk.  Claire |

I was thinking since the fan book will be split in sections by countries maybe we could split those sections with maps of the relevant country and mark the places the letters come from on those maps.  I´m not implying the boys don´t have a clue about geography but it could be kind of an introduction and might be interesting for them to look at. Just a thought.

almost finished my letter, I wanted it to be handwritten, but I won't get it all on one page so I'll be typing it I guess

Sorry for asking so much but I want it to be as good as it can be. What should I write as caption/headline? Please, say like an exempel ^^
You could always simply start with Hi/Hey... ! Or you could start with Lieber Tom, Bill, Georg & Gustav with reference to Tom´s "Liebe Kathrin..." and their fit of laughter on the Leb´ die Sekunde DVD.
Another idea would be to put your favourite Tokio Hotel song lyrics/line as the headline and start the letter with pointing out why it means so much to you/why this particular song (lyric) helped you and go from there.
You could also put half a sentence summarizing the idea of the fan book as the headline and then start your letter by finishing that sentence. E.g. The reasons why Tokio Hotel´s music means so much to me... as the headline and ... are [whatever you want to put] as the beginning of your letter. And then you would go from there, talking about the reasons. Or two more examples: Tokio Hotel have saved my life with their music because... or Tokio Hotel inspire me because... as the headline and then continue that thought in your letter.

I wrote the names of my favourite songs and what they mean to me and when do I listen to them. Its a good idea to do it because it will show the boys that its not only about their looks but something that comes out of them which is music x)

Yay! I'm starting my letter, but I think I'll be the only one from Grenada (Caribbean) kinda sucky, but anyways, I was wondering if we have to send in a photo or something to go with our letter or just a letter?
