I think that part of the article is true... I mean at my college, the library is shared with the music students, and there are so many books on the music business in there, so i get the chance to take them out and read them. I have looked into the business side of music and the band itself does not actually earn much money themselves....a solo artist would earn more....but still, they don't get as much money as people think. Infact the manager and record company are the ones making all of the money!! Most money is made from merch and bill probably has his fair share from the merch as he did infact design his own hoody. The publicity is what gets them most of their money, not the actual performing..... They probably still have more money than the average working person but as for the car Tom owns, he is advertising the companny everytime he goes out in it. The guys work so hard all year around, but yet the managment gets more money than them....they deserve the majority of money... It may not seem all too fair, but that's how the fame game works. If someone said that i could do what TH do for a living and not get the money, I would still jump at the chance  |

It's not an article but the personal opinion of someone posted on a different forum. Personally, I think it's highly exaggerated for reasons already stated on here.

yeah some of the things are over exaggerated but alot of it also makes sence too.... ohwell, they are liing their dream job so as long as they are happy...*jelous of their job?? very much so LOL*

actually i was thinking the other day of this, and i thought to the guys what they wanna do is be part of this band that is legend, perform live to the masses, and the money, cool places, awards and girls are just a bonus that comes with what theyr already doing innit?
but id still be bare annoyed if they go ripped off- i doubt the RC would ahve guts enough to do that tho since TH are massive and stuff, and if they ripped off such a big band then nobody would ever get signed onto them... EVER.
