I just didnt want to point at the poster and have to say 'But they don't really look like that anymore, well Tom does, but I expect he's taller now ;D'

Here is an article related to the UK: German magazine, Bild, recently ran an article about Tokio Hotel in the UK. It's not very complimentary...
Translation:
Tokio Hotel conquered Germany, France and Italy. Now Bill (18), Tom (18), Gustav (19) and Georg (20) began an attack with the English charts with single "Ready, Set, Go". But the British "were not amused" by this song. The single reached the Juste place 77 in the official British charts in the first week. In the second week they already disappeared from the top 100.
US5 reached the 38th palce with their song "Maria" in 2006.
Priya Elan of the largest magazine of British music, "NME", knows why Tokio Hotel is a failure in England.
'Here they are compared to Emo-rockers like "My Chemical Romance" and "Fall Out Boy". But They are too pop-like, that explains this failure.'
Now TH wants to go to the United States in 2008. To have better chances there, they will receive the support of super-label Interscope (Gwen Stefani, Black Eyed Peas).
Then: Good luck!
Thanks to Gajastar at thfanclub for the info

Actually, the street team has been around since May (before the gig). We've worked hard, but it takes time to grow the UK fanbase. Although we have over 4000 members, I think only a handful are from the UK. Also, I must admit that we could do with more support from the record label in getting the word out - although they are very good to us, they don't provide us with any resources. My hope is that they will change that in the future...

NME always say bad things about 'foreign' bands, so I wouldn't count their opinion. Miserable b*****ds!!
*crosses fingers and wishes with Claire!*
