Gigs and festivals are good places to hand out flyers also we could email radio stations n try n get some songs played also what about flash box on the box (tv channel) we could send in videos requests songs whilst been all THed up? Another idea sticking posters of the band in windows of your house that face onto the street?

If maybe we at the next meet up (after L'pool) we had it in a slightly smaller, well known place, we could attract some media attention (local newspapers etc.) and also if we gave prior warning we could probably even get coverage from a radio station or, for example, regional news program.
I got the idea from when a load of us from our town were protesting about the closure of our post office and arranged a like protest literally overnight but because we had people who had a friend of a friend who worked on ITV Granada News (N/West regional news) the protest was covered as a top story the same night.
I'm sure if we did some digging we could do something similar! ;D
It would also give the band great publicity!

with protests theres alot of legal issues which are complicated sometimes especially when you have alot of people which is difficult.

Good point...
If we didn't do a protest as such but like just publisising(sp?), also if we ran it past local authorities(sp?) first?

Are there any students on here? Cuz i dunno bout u but my university has its own radio station which a few hundred students minimum are listening to at one time. So we students could send a request to our radio stations for 'Ready, Set, Go!' along with a plea or suggestiong to check them/the THUKST site out? It could work y'know... x x

^^ reminds me when my friend drew random stuff in gangster writing with permanent pen during a lunch period. everyone was staring but luckily no teachers properly noticed lolz. On the bus, people were like, what did you do to your arm? And I was like, OMG you idiots, it's kinda obvious I wrote on my arm with black marker, get a brain.

Hah, lol. xD Everyone writes on their hands at our school, noone cares. Just goes to show how bad our school is. My friend painted on my other friend in Art once, yet noone gived a monkeys, not even the Art teacher who watched her do it.
I wore my Tokio Hotel hoodie out once, and walked through Stamshaw (really quite a chavvy place) and some little kids were like, Tokio Hotel who are they? Are they good? I just shouted back, SEARCH THEM YOURSELF. xD Was quite funny. I also went to camp once and I was team leader of a group, also wearing my Tokio Hotel jumper & one of the eleven year olds came up to me and went, "Tokio Hotel! I know them, I have their McDonalds toy." - Then she began singing her own version of what was supposedly 'Monsoon'. I was sat teaching her the words for half an hour. ;D
