My mum sort of likes them (I think...), but only the ballads. She hasn't seen their picture yet...I'm trying to protect her from middle aged prejudices  As for my dad...I would rather not know what he thinks. If I told them they were German...my life would be literally over. Plus once I wanted to watch RTL and straight away he started going on about what Germany did to Poland blah blah blah. Then he started going on about how I shouldn't get married to a German and then he said that if he's a vegetarian, he's gay. Througout the whole conversation, I didn't say anything. All I wanted to watch was German TV. Geeeeez... So no, I don't think that my dad would like them:) Sorry, this is kind of long and a bit off topic! |

 Hi guys Ive been reading through some of the messages you have posted and feel a bit jealous of you having such cool grandparents. I havent tried TH songs on my grandparents but I might pay them a visit and try. I can see my gran at least listening to a song or 2. I`ll see how it goes and let you know. thfan xxx

My nanna and grandad also didn't get the fact that Bill was a guy and still to this day insist he's a girl. My Mum kind of likes them, she likes them on and off, she likes 'the wall song' xD (world behind my wall) ahaha but I've been forcing her to listen to them recently coz she's coming to the concert with me :') but I agree, old people aren't keen on tokio hotel, I think it's coz 'back in their day boys looked like boys...' thing |

If your grandma likes them, maybe I'll try it on mine:) I visited my gran and got her to listen to some songs. She listened to Monsoon, Dont jump, Noise, Dogs unleashed and Hey you. She liked them all so I might see if she wants to listen to some others some time. What was really good was when I kind of opened a conversation about them, she said she had heard about them. She new the name. She said she had seen them mentioned in a paper. I cant remember which one she said though. I might ask her. I showed her a picture of them and she said she thought Georg looks like Ewan McGregor when he was younger Ive posted the picture below  Let me know what you think thfan xxx |
