Okay, so on MSN, Amiee randomly asked me... 'What was the first band you ever obsessed about?'And that gave me the idea to start this thread. I think we should all share the secrets about what bands we used to love, or still do. So, i'll go first and admit to my mistake as i call it XP I used to have this hugeeee thing for Westlife  Don't ask me why, 'cause i have noo stinkin' clue  But yeah, i went to a concert, got the concert DVD's for birthdays and christmas and everything. Okay, mine firstly the Spice Girls bahahah (got the dolls and all that palarva)
Then it was onto Steps.....blantently cos they were the big thing lol and i enjoyed singing along to them XD
I got all the CD's tooo lol
And even a video (was a christmas present though)

I covered my room in NKOTB posters, but I was too young to be allowed to go to London for a concert.  My first concert was Take That and they were my biggest obsession. Seriously. I've really liked loads of bands before
Stuff like
Busted
Steps
Spice Girls
Westlife
All the usual bands...
But I was never 'obsessed' and I never had any posters or merchandise.
So that means...
Tokio Hotel was my first obsession, and still is =]
'Cos TH is the first band that I liked so much that I got posters etc...

When I was a teenager, there was SO many magazines. Smash Hits, BIG, TV Hits, Number One, etc. We didn't have the internet (lol) and so the only way we could find out what our fav bands were up to was through buying magazines. I spent all my pocket money for years on mags and they always came with loads of posters. Every inch of wall and ceiling in my bedroom was covered in Take That posters at one point.
The internet has changed everything. Nearly all the magazines have shut down because of it. No one needs to buy a magazine to know what a band is doing, or read an interview, and consequently there's less posters.
In this country.
Across mainland Europe they still have all the magazines with posters, etc. They had at least 20 magazines with Tokio Hotel on the cover when I went to France. It was so cool. I have a bunch that I'm never going to do anything with, but I couldn't resist.

my mum is taking me to Calais in the summer half term
all my year are buggering off to Barcelona
im not allowed.. for various reasons
anywho off too france purely to get TH merch
and buy every magazine with Bill or Tom or any of them inside
and plaster them to my walll
OH and my first obession was of course Spice Girls
gotta love them
and Steps i love them
i had like four videos
and one of them the girl with the big mouth is making pasta
ROFL
it looked disgusting..

The first band I really obsessed over was The Calling. I was so in love with Alex Band I thought the world was gonna end if he didn`t marry me! Lmao. I still really like him. Alex is one of music`s good guys - he genuinely cares about his fans. Shame not all the fans are as nice. I stopped going on the forum because they said really evil things about Bill.  |

Anime. My first obsession was anime.
I think it started with pokemon like most people, but then I went onto Digimon and stuff then eventually YuGiOh, which was my obsession for years.
As for bands. I LOVED Steps XD H was my fave. And he turned out to be the gay one, hah! And I sorta went onto a rock obsession after hearing Evanescence, I think, or Placebo or Green Day.
Thus creating my second obsession, My Chemical Romance. =] Who I've seen live, and bought loads of posters and merch of.
but now of course my obsession is TH XD

Yepp, Jess I AM posting something... you still have to be hyper tho!!! My first obsession...... BUSTED!!! :$ I went to a concert, got posters, a t-shirt (Yess a tee!!) I bloody loved em to bits! But im NOT telling who it was that i was obsessed wif... or shall i?! But yeah.... I dont usually admit that.. NOW!!! my obsession.. OFC!!! is TOKIO HOTEL!!!! Bloody LOVE bill to pieces!!!!
