Lordi were awesome, but Apocalyptica were even more awesome! (And they weren't even competing ) I stayed up and watched the whole program last year just to hear them play. And when they did, my heart skipped a beat. When they played Life Burns! I think I nearly had a heart attack I was so excited XD I was really liked Finland's entry last year - Hanna Pakkarinen (sp?) but they only came 17th or something I think I am partial to Finns, lmao! Yes! I love the Finns too! I always look forward to the Finnish entry, and even though Apocalyptica weren't competiting, I think that was one of the best parts of the show! ;D Eurovision just isn't about the talent anymore, well...some the countries vote that way, but most of them vote politcally, and always give each other 12 points. But it doesn't really bother me anymore, as I've given up hope of us winning anyhow. *shrugs* But hey, even so, I love watching Eurovision!

Eurovision used to be about proper talent, like Celine Dion. Now its who can be cheesiest - although Serbia who won last year weren't cheesy one bit. I still watch it, but now its only a bit of entertainment, nothing very serious. Same here though, I love Eurovision ;D

It's not fair how Eurovision has gone from talent to cheese. But hey, looking back at the past couple of Finnish entries, it seems as though Finland is THE home of awesome rock music.
@ifanna: OMG so did I! Being a Rasmusfreek, I was like *squeeeeeeeeeeeeeethey'replayingLifeBurnsZOMGK!!!* As well as Faraway, that song's ace! My dad wubbed it too.

No problemo. I think I watched the Bosnia & Herzogovina entry the other week... OMGK, need I say more? It's mad! It's about a farm or something. HAHA xD I knew someone would say that...that's where I'm originally from and the song was just about love, but in a very weird way...lol...and btw us Bosnians aren't that mad xD even though the singer is apparently distantly related to me...

I wouldn't say it's gone to cheese, there are some very talented acts that competed this year, Jade being one of them.. even if she has joined the sugababes now.. bleh! But I think the change in the voting will now bring the talent back and not the cheese ;D
