It seems to me it might be worthwhile exploring small meet-ups outside London. Although it was a clear winner for the april meet-up, the numbers looked like this:
London - 20 Birmingham - 2 Bristol - 5 Cardiff - 8 Newcastle - 2 Guildford - 1 Nottingham - 1 Glasgow - 2 Leeds - 1 Manchester - 1
Well, I can't organise more myself, but I would support anyone that would like to organise more regional meet-ups. I would help organisation prior, post to all the street team sites, come up with ideas, etc. I just couldn't attend them. But I really would like other cities and fans the opportunity to have meet-up fun!
I don't know about numbers, but I think if you could get 10 or more people to come, that would still make a fun day out. You could make some flyers, hang out and make friends, I don't know!
If you live in a city that you think would be good for a meet-up and you want to be a street team coordinator for that area, please PM me. We will be formalising this regional idea in the future, but at the moment we're looking at demand and interest.

I totally agree with the idea of mini-meet-ups =] I'd happily organise one for Manchester if people were interested =] So can I be a street-team regional thingy please! North West forevar! XD (I'm hyper, leave me alone)

Okay, Manchester seems popular! I think we'll look at organising a mini meet-up there. Everyone that has contacted me or mentioned Manchester - I will be in contact shortly about how we can make it happen!
Excellent! I'm so happy that other meet-ups can take place.
Now, where are the Cardiff and Glasgow girls. Maybe we can do mini meet-ups in those locations. I recall them being popular and the idea being suggested before.

Great! I'd like to try a mini meet-up in Glasgow...I think we have some Scottish fans. That would rock. Like I said before, we will be formalising regional street team stuff in the future, but there's no reason not to get the ball rolling. Claire
