hallo people, i have some very bad news on the mtv ema's which i inquired about at the liverpool echo the weekend just gone, the bad news is that you can not PURCHASE the tickets for the event and have to win them in a specail prize draw if you have been signed up to the website for more than a year .the good news is that the people at the echo arena said that there is a huge chance tokio hotel are going to be there as other bands from different countries our also going to be there also another bit of goss for tokio hotel fans that live in the north west, they now sell CDS and POSTERS at the liverpool HMV and ZAVVI atores i just thought id fill you in with that aisha xxx

Thanks for the info! I'm not surprised about not being able to purchase tickets - it works like that a lot with award shows. What I'm surprised about is being signed up for a year. The venue hasn't been open for a year. It opened on January 25th 2008.
But, that's ok. Going in wouldn't have been THAT great anyway. TH are unlikely to perform as they did last year, so wouldn't have seen much anyway and more likely to get an autograph on the red carpet.

I don't know how old you are, thfan1, but if you are under 16, I always recommend that you bring an adult over 18 with you. We do everything we can to make meet-ups a safe environment, but we cannot take responsibility for your safety.
But, so you know, we have a very wide range of ages that come to meet-ups. And some people do bring their parent or older sibling with them, so don't feel embarrassed about it.
