I don't have any freakin' dresses. I'll wear my nice new top and my skirt. I did see a really nice one, which I could buy if I have enough money the day before or something. And how did they get show-afterparty tickets? The hell. Is there a VIP ballot/Competition one going on or something? Might be fake tickets they have? Lots of them are probably in circulation.

I don't think they have fake tickets. they happen to be everywhere TH goes.they have a lot of connections first time I saw them at the comets and yeah say first impression:annoying after seeing them again I can say they are ok but not at all someone I would like to be my friends

Yeah but the only way they can get tickets for the EMA's are from the Echo Arena. That's what confuses me. :/ Like, that's where the payment goes too, I believe..

Was it a Live Stream then, Amiee? The red Carpet usually lasts a couple of hours because of the mass of 'Celebs,' parading themselves down, and all the interviews they have to do. Then the interviews and finding their seats etcetc. I heop there's a screen outside the Echo Arena so those who can't get in can watch it from outside. in the middle of liverpool there are loads of huge tv screens so maybe there will be one near by (:

they have to hold it somewhere; there will always be some people far away. it makes a change for the big events not to be in london.

ahrrrggghhh its too far away :[[[ what about us up here in the north-east do we not count? i guess not :[ Well, of course not everyone can make it and that's a shame. We'd love everyone to be able to come.
It's not about people 'not counting'. But it's one award show, and it has to be held somewhere. Wherever it was, there would always be people who can't get there. It can't be in a thousand places at once, and so unfortunately that means some people can't make it.

Yeah, Leela's right. Most of the tickets for this kind of event are distributed to record labels, media people, management companies, PR companies - if you know the right people, you can get them. I know there's someone on THA that is going and she also had tickets/after show for the Comets, etc. Just depends who you know and where you work.
