Ah right, I understand now - because of the length of time you will be employed, no holiday offered .. Gah. Well, if I was you, I would maybe mention it to them. Just say that you would like to go if at all possible. Maybe offer to work some extra hours or something to make up for it. If you have already accepted that you can't go, then you don't have anything to lose by asking, and maybe they will surprise you and say yes

yes that's the problem. hm I thought about that as well.
they will leave me alone with the girl on weekend-maybe that's an argument.

I will arrive at 3pm on the 6th probably but better than nothing ;D
the girl will probably just go to a friend =)
her mum just has to phone that family and make everything sure as the friend isn't that reliable and then I can buy train tickets and organise everything^^

I think you posted it in another thread Claire.the presentation they will do for one of the categories. In german we say they do the laudatio for that categorie.
