Just like me then, Amiee. Sucks for us but oh well... could be worse, I suppose.
I do miss going home during the summer though. When I was in school I used to spent all my holidays with my grandparents in their village and I've got very fond memories of those times. I miss those and I guess, it makes me feel a bit homesick sometimes... missing out on cherry season again! *lol* Though this year, my grandma keeps telling me how horrible and cold the weather is so I don't miss out on much. I just keep the pretty memory pictures in my mind even if it's nothing like that this year.
Aww Turner, I hope you also get to do some other stuff, except drinking. Would be a shame to waste the summer with drinking alone. How did the bowling game turn out?
Gah, personally I'm sick of drunk people (not saying you are anything like them, Turner!^^... it's just my personal experiences I've had so far during this year's summer weeks). I work near the racecourse and I really hate racing season. Especially because of the drunk people that seem to get worse and worse every year. The past three race meetings I've had some especially unpleasant encounters where I had to shout at people because they were idiots... climbing up house walls, standing on them! Piling up plastic chairs on plastic tables, standing on them! Trying to climb out of an old sash window! Or just randomly walking in and nearly passing out in the hallway because they're so wasted they can't even talk anymore. I hate shouting at people but some of them behave like idiots, endangering themselves or damaging things that aren't theirs to damage etc etc. I've had a guy impaling himself on a blunt arrow fence ornament once because he and his friends were drunk. That was not pleasant and I surely don't want anybody breaking their neck etc just because they're acting like idiots when drunk. *big sigh*
Anyway, hope you have a great time in Ghana, Nom! Are you well prepared? I don't mean for the country...
How was Germany with your friend, Robyn?! Hope you had a good time! Maybe you already talked about it in "random chat". I haven't read up yet.
Oh, we have lots of people staying at the hotel when they come to check out York's Uni. Sometimes it's a bit cute because they're always with their parents or one parent or the whole family. *aww*
