It's been four years! Yes, that's right: in the beginning of May 2007 the Official Tokio Hotel UK Street Team was founded by Claire at the request of Tokio Hotel's former UK record label at that time and we finally went public with our Myspace profile on 23rd May 2007. That's why we have chosen this date as our official anniversary. In the past we have never actually really celebrated that day but we decided that we should this year. Mainly because we want to celebrate the strength and never-ending support the UK fans have given us and the band over the past four years. To be honest, without you and your fun-loving, high spirits, THUKST would not be around anymore to even see this day. So we want to say a BIG THANK YOU to all of you UK fans for joining us, sticking around, spreading the TH love throughout the country and not giving up even though the "UK situation" hasn't improved since the one and only ever UK release of "Ready, Set, Go!" on 27th August 2007. Let's keep fighting together for our dreams, share many more fun times and who knows, maybe there will be even more UK celebs like McFly, Elliot Minor or Jedward recently to give us random giggles by mentioning Tokio Hotel. Also a big thanks to all our friends around the world for always lending support whenever we've needed it!^^ There will be a few little competitions with prize draws for UK fans on our website this week (starting today until Friday), but don't worry, we know many of you are in the middle of their GCSEs so we'll try to go easy on you and hope it'll be a bit of fun for you guys. Make sure to keep checking our website: www.tokiohotelstreetteam.co.uk/

So exciting, good luck to those entering! Woosh you got the RSG vinyl to give away? Feels so good to own that! Can I ask, what is “Passion for Music” cotton sack? XD
Happy Birthday to the Street Team, woo!

The vinyl is most definitely a cool thing to own as a fan and probably the only good thing the former UK label gave to the UK fans in terms of a music release. As much as the RSG release was screwed up, the actual single formats were pretty neat! ;D
Thanks and of course you can ask. It's this:

Yeah, the vinyls are not that easy to come by and/or are way too expensive.
I find it sounds a bit stupid to call it a "sack" but I don't know... it's what it's called on the bravado shop site so thought we'd better stick to it to avoid further confusion in case people have seen or look it up it on there.
So, another day...**************************** It's day two of our THUKST anniversary week and for today's post including the daily prize draw quiz we've got an interview with Tokio Hotel that Julia (the creator of one of the first English language TH fan sites) was granted back in 2007. One year later, in June 2008, she and her website were named Official UK Fanclub and some of you might remember that the Official UK Fanclub and the Official UK Street Team decided to merge in 2009. That's how we all got together and why we are the "Official Tokio Hotel UK Street Team & Fanclub" (THUKST & FC) now. For the following interview, Julia was taken to a room that already had 12 people cramped into it, including the band. This took place in London/UK on 24th May 2007 and you will hear in the beginning that it was Julia's birthday. So Happy 18th Birthday to Julia from all of us today. We hope you're having a wonderful time! Enjoy reading the translation of your interview and cherish the memories. Also a BIG THANK YOU goes to our Russian friends at tokiohotelnews.ru who put the videos together for us and worked at short notice to get it subtitled in time for us to post today! Part 1 Part 2 You can go to our website if you want to read the interview transcript & translation.Questions for today's prize draw quiz:1 ) What's the one thing Bill mentioned that Tom has left behind in hotel rooms before? 2 ) Which UK stadium did the guys say they wanted to play in? 3 ) What is the name of the staff member translating for the band? 4 ) Who cordially invited the Kaulitz twins to join them? 5 ) Name the song that TH covered for Amnesty International. UK fans only, please email your answers to tokiohoteluk@gmail.com until midnight today. Put "anniversary prize draw quiz day 2" as the subject, include your first name and last name's initial and where in the UK you're from. Winner of Monday's prize draw is Robyn or as we know her on here, xAngelPromisex.

Ah, yes you did, Robyn but like you said, sometimes it's a bit hard to remember all the names or make the connection when usually it's mostly the usernames you see.
Oh, Jedward mentioned TH again in some German interviews. Edward says they've got all their albums and they even sing Automatic and know all of the lyrics (probably know them better than I do *cough*. A translation for the recent mentions in German press is on our website now. Yes, Tom McFly was once asked by a fan if he'd know TH and he replied that he'd knew a few of their songs and that they should tour together. Haha, wouldn't that be something? One of the Elliot Minor guys once mentioned (on twitter, I believe) that he was listening to "Monsoon" so a fan replied saying something like how cool you know them and he replied back that they were once considered to be the support band for one of TH's concerts (in Amsterdam).
Yes, keep particpating, Mai. Today's quiz is up on the website now and winners get picked at random (providing they submitted the right answers of course ) so you're still in with a chance.^^Winner of Wednesday's prize draw is Ellie P from Kent and the answers were: 1) Ready, set, go! It's time to run2) b) I am with you, I am here 3) Rescue Me 4) Zoom (into me) 5) Schrei 6) Wir wollten nur reden, und jetzt liegst du hier 7) Automatic 8) Durch den Monsun/Monsoon 9) Du bist, alles was ich bin und alles was durch meine Adern fließt 10) Sonnensystem

Yes, i totally understand that I think i only mentioned my name once on here so i'm not surprised that you didn't make the connection I guess you made the connection from my twitter though The only thing i didn't like about what Jedward said was at the end when they said 'we are really twins' which kinda implies that Bill and Tom are not like real identical twins just because they have a different style from each other. Not all identical twins have to be identical in EVERYTHING and of course Bill and Tom are still 'really twins.' But it's cool that they mentioned them
