You know how Tokio hotel are now going to Russia.. Well I noticed how they said that they received "tons of requests via mail and the Russian fans plastering the net, asking them to come back". Maybe we could do the same? And maybe if we get enough people doing it, Tokio hotel will notice. (Tokio hotel's fan mail is fans@Tokiohotel.de- I think) It worked for Russian fans, so why not us?

I think anything is worth a go tbh Didn't we do this as a fan action type thing one time too? Hmm but try and try again and all that shizzle

Anything is probably worth a go, right? I agree, if we all put something similar then they could listen .....

Definitely go for it and keep emailing etc . Just remember to always be polite and not to spam senseless.
It took Russian fans almost three years to get them to the MUZ TV awards again but it was worth it. Of course it helped that they had the back up from MUZ who helped making it happen based on the feedback and requests over the years. We don't have that in the UK because we all know that we a) don't have a record label here to represent TH and b) they've never appeared on any UK (TV) shows who we could turn to to get them "back". However, keeping an online presence, constantly showing that they have fans in the UK who want them here and even if it's only to get a CD release at first, would be something worthwhile to achieve and maybe if they see that they're wanted here, they'll finally get a UK record label again and things could move from there.
What to put when you're emailing the fan mail? Well, just make it from the heart, say how much you love the band, how you've been waiting for them to return for years, how disappointed you are that we are not only always left out of tour dates but are not even included in any of the "world-wide" releases and how we've never even had one album being released in the UK even though we were promised a special UK edition of Scream back in 2007. But don't get angry or rude (not that I think many of you would, but you know... ). Don't make a message too long, keep it interesting, short-ish and to the point but heartfelt. Those of you who have e.g. made a video can include the link to it. Something like that. If you want you can also copy your email texts and post them here to share with others and maybe encourage more people.

about the russian fans....there's thousands of them compared to us...but lets not give up! Gosh... admittedly, I've often had moments where it felt daunting when seeing the mind-blowing amount of fan crowds in other countries, like Mexico or Russia now. Seeing those crowds sometimes really makes me think that I can't imagine similar scenes happening in the UK and would there even be close to that many fans if we'd put every single UK fan - known and unknown to us - in one spot. Sometimes those kind of crowds as seen in other countries feel surreal for the UK to be happening here, don't they? Sometimes I really can't wrap my mind around it and it feels so quiet here. *lol*

I agree with everything said above. When you see some of the fan bases and crowds from those countries like Russia, it's overwhelming. There are just SO many fans out there! Since joining this forum and seeing the website and stuff, it's made me realise that there are a lot of UK fans out there too because before, not knowing anyone else other than myself who actually know who the band is, it seemed like there was hardly any. But then you realise that there actually isn't that many of us and, as said above, even if all of us were in one spot, i doubt we could compete with other crowds and fan bases from around the world. But then, i have to remember that the UK is so much smaller than some of those other countries so there are bound to be less fans as there are less people. And also, remembering that TH have never really done any sort of promotion in the UK other than the concert and release of RSG four years ago, we have done pretty well to build up a fan base here at all. And after all, all we need to do is show the band that there IS a fan base here, and how dedicated we are to seeing the band perform here again and release stuff over here, not compete with some of the huge crowds out there.

That's true. I do realise there's not that many of us, and now I think about it I think Tokio Hotel thinks the same ......But still, isn't that more of a reason to do something like this? Trying to get through to the media seems pointless and disheartens me sometimes. So I thought why not at least try to attract Tokio hotel here by just letting them know we exist :') Besides we grow and are doing well as a fan base, if you put everything in perspective, we can do well

Yes, you'd think they'd want to try and make themselves more popular here. I guess the release of RSG wasn't as successful as they thought it would be and so they never really thought to come back. Though as a fan base we have done a lot to show that we are dedicated to the band and would love to see them again. They always say 'see you soon' but we never know WHEN or IF we will. But we are growing as a fan base all the time and as long as we can do that, we are doing something right. And who knows, maybe they'll think again about coming here

That's true, but maybe there's something we don't know about....idk. I have loads of theories about Tokio Hotel and the Uk, but I guess it's not likely that we'll find out. Personally, I think the release for RSG was very successful, they got into the charts at #77 I think that's good for a first time release.... :/ I totally agree with everything you're saying there Maybe with the new album we'll be luckier, idk I just kinda see it as new hope xD

I really hope you were right. It's a nice thought that they have plans for the UK that they just aren't telling us about. Although it would be nice to have some information, thinking that they aren't telling us is better than thinking that they aren't doing anything at all. I guess for us the release went well and i think they did well to get to number 77, but i guess compared to other countries in Europe, it was not THAT high to previous releases and maybe they saw it as not as successful as maybe they hoped.
