i just came back from doing my tongue ;D it's weird now but well I guess my tongue will swell tonight.now I think about what to eat LOL
I hated eating on the first day of getting mine done, it hurt.
I just ate... mashed potatoes and soup. lolyum.
But I was eating solids again on Wednesday, so 4 days, including the Saturday I got it done.
Were you told not to eat/drink dairy stuff? |

Were you told not to eat/drink dairy stuff? yes normally I'm canting over(is that a right word^^?) when getting injections or something but today nothing happened I didn't even felt dizzy-so yeah :] well maybe I wiöö eat some soup I'll have a try later ;D I'm just "eating" ice cubes at the moment  4 days, that's good  yes I was told about that and about not drinking pure fruit juice and how to disinfect it^^ @amiee: it doesn't really hurt, you know sth is going on but as soon as it is done it is like having a bonbon in your mouth or something. so don't be afraid |

Mine didn't swell up alot at all really, but I did get a lisp and all my friends were like "lolinyourface"
Ice-poles are good at keeping swelling down, ice-cubes too, but ice poles taste better. XD |

Ah, congrats on getting your tongue done  I'd love to get it done but i'm too much of a wimp and not 16 yet (well, not for another two weeks or so xD). I love tongue piercings x] Jenni, when i got my belly done i hardly felt it. Just felt like there was pressure on it. I was such a wimp getting it done as well xD |

well done, Leela :] yeah, same here, Sophie. i love them, and want mine doing, but im a wimp, and not yet 16. i will hopefully get it done.. at some point.. when mum can't stop me |

Yeah, it's 16 in any decent place.
I was able to get my belly done as i was only a few months away from being 16.
Snakebites when i was 13 was due to getting them done in a dodgy shop.
The 16 age limit is due to still growing and the scars then being larger. Well, in the shop i went to that was the reason.
Some places have lower ages for things like ears and nose though =/
