pretzels are sehr lush :-) all this talking about German food reminds me of what happened the other day. I had a huge chat (in German) with a German guy at the food market down here and he gave me free food :-) you could try and do that haha

Oh, the German market is a great idea for a meeting place 
At the moment, I can't say whether or not I'd be able to come. December is an awkward month financially, and last time I travelled there it was quite expensive. The £25 ferry fare to get of the island certainly doesn't help *whinge*
I'll keep an eye on train / coach deals etc though, something might turn up.
