Where to order Humanoid City Live

As you know the new Live DVD and CD will be released soon and we've put together a little list for you to help decide where you can (pre)order it from. There are a few options but they all have different release dates, delivery times and prices so maybe this list gives a good overview.

Please keep in mind that e.g. Amazon prices have a tendency of changing slightly (so it might be different if you're ordering later) and delivery times are just general information taken from the respective websites, meaning we can't guarantee anything.

Please also keep checking with your local CD shops and ask them about getting the DVD, e.g. HMV. Contact your local store and enquire if they'll be stocking the DVD/CD. (Remember you might have to point out the “it’s spelled with an “i” not a “y” rule. ) As we know they stocked imported copies of the Humanoid and Scream album in the past and even had the Zimmer 483 live DVD. Even if they'll tell you they won't have the new live DVD, let's show them the demand!

With regards to this @x_Reptar tweeted us saying: "I saw a comment about customs charges on the blog. Can I just mention, that if your good is over £18, you will be charged 17.5% of the cost as import charges. If you buy from Amazon USA, the £8.50 price means no charges when it's here. Also, there may be handling fees from the Royal Mail, but in the worst case, it's £8, which is still less than the £27.99 "

would the dvd play in the UK when ordering from amazon USA?

I just amended the post with regards to ordering from the USA. I've gone through the ordering process in the prices were slightly different so I updated it. Also, it pointed out that there might be some extra charges (e.g. customs) and added a comment we got on Twitter with regards to it.

I'm not 100% sure about your question Hannah but considering that they're offering the very same CD/DVD package on Amazon UK I would assume it does play here as well. Some years ago I email Amazon to ask a similar DVD related question and they replied to me that they wouldn't put up DVDs that aren't playing on our players and if they'd put a special note, advising of this. I'm assuming the DVD is Region 0 as most of TH's DVD have been in the past (even though the Humanoid City Live DVD on the French Amazon is Region 2, playable in Europe only). I think the US DVD will be playable here. Some fans in Germany have ordered the Combo as well.

So, it looks as though you can get the live DVD and CD from HMV now. Originally they told me they couldn't get it, but maybe they were just a bit late catching on, lol. I haven't really checked it out, but it's on their website, so I assume you can.
