Debating whether to go see Nightwish alone in November... always wanted to see them and they're playing a few dates in the UK in Nov, by that time I'll have (hopefully...) moved to Leeds for uni so getting across to Manchester won't be too bad.
I'll have to go alone though haha... should be fun.

Yeah, they haven't played the UK since like... 2007 or 8 or something, apart from festivals (and I don't want to do a full festival for one band haha) I probably will  alone is better than missing it. |

Yeah, i totally know what you mean. I went to a concert alone in London back in May and also, when i fly to Germany for a concert, i'll be flying alone, but i AM meeting a friend there. I'd happily go and see a band alone, if i REALLY loved that band. Like, if Tokio Hotel came to the UK and no one wanted to come with me, i would FOR SURE go alone  |

i went to a concert on my own earlier this year. in a way, you kinda do go to gigs on your own since you don't really talk to people while in the venue |

same! love queuing all day cuz you meet loads of nice people. there was one girl i met who turned out to be in a relationship with someone i knew since i was 4, talk about some world!

it was very odd! the way we found out too was weird too. we were talking about this festival & i was like "someone from my school went in the mosh pit dressed as a banana" & she was like "my boyfriends mate, Will did that" & i was like "Will who?" & it was the Will from my school. so, so strange
