Well yeah, they were gonna miss it anyway, but if they were gonna do anything at all, I would have thought that Bill being poorly would had been the perfect opportunity to change that. You know, like, take until then off and maybe make it his first public appearance or something ... not sing, but just be there ... But if they`re still doing the Bamboozle ... that`s frigging crazy. I seriously can`t get my head around that one.

Hm yeah, I was wondering if Bamboozle was cancelled, too, or not. I'm repeating what I just wrote to Claire and the others and that was that it must have been hard to get the slot and to cancel it before they know for "sure" that Bill won't be able to make it would probably be a bit hasty in their eyes. They probably want to keep it up their sleeves. After all there is a chance Bill will be ok by that time and if rehab doesn't go the way they hope and it will take longer then they can still cancel it. There's always that possibility. I suppose they discussed it with the band and of course Bill wouldn't have said he wanted to cancel it. They would know that it's quite important (surely not as important as Bill's health, we all agree there) and when he's better they will want to go on so having a festival up the sleeve might be good to get back in the saddle. At least it's not a whole concert and might not even be that bad of an opportunity for Bill to "test" his voice and to see how it goes with a "few" songs. I guess we'll have to wait and see what will happen. They can still always cancel it. We'll just have to trust that the right decision will be made when it comes to that point. I'm hoping they won't do anything stupid and everything will turn out fine. Yeah.

like at the bottom of the Bamboozle poster with the line up on it it says something like:
No bands/artists are definately confirmed, any could pull out at anytime. No refunds
etcetc

I guess it`s easy to forget that Bill will want to get back out there as soon as possible. I`d have him tucked up in bed for a year if I had my way, lmao! But we all know that`s not what Bill wants. So yeah, like you said - we just have to trust that the correct decisions will be made about what`s safe for him. My big fear is that he will rush back into things and do himself some permanent damage. And I never want to see another video of him struggling to sing, like that other one. Because that was just too horrible. . .

Yeah, their exact words to me were:
All reports we have received from the band have said they will still be performing at Bamboozle despite the cancellations
So it looks like at the moment, firm plans to attend Bamboozle. I guess they'll wait to cancel that one, but I don't like the idea they're planning to do it. Just not enough time for Bill, IMO.

I know. Them vids of him struggling to sing just got me really upset And I hop David Jost will have enough sence to keep Bill from singing till he has fully recovered and not to let him rush himself - tbh, I'd rather him get annoyed/upset at the fact that he wouldnt be allowed to get straight back to singing once he thinks hes recovered then him rushing in to things like Liz said and do some permanent damage to his voice. did that make sence???

I think Bamboozle is gonna have to get cancelled though, no matter what the band told them, since Bill's surgery is being pushed back now. It was never enough time for a full recovvery, but now it definitely won't be. Apparently he took some aspirin a few days ago for a headache (wtf, bill?) and you can't have surgery for like 14 days after you've taken aspirin. Translated by distortedinpink from LJ: "BERLIN - The vocal cord operation of Tokio Hotel singer Bill Kaulitz was rescheduled for safety's sake. The "Bild" reports newspaper in its Wednesday edition newpaper, the doctors decided on the postponement because the 18-year-old had taken aspirin. The blood-thinning effect of the medicine would have to be over first of all because it could otherwise cause complications in the operation. On Tuesday it became well known that Bill Kaulitz suffers from a cyst on his vocal cords, that must be treated surgically. Therefore, the European tour was postponed on short notice. After the operation, Bill should spend several weeks rehabilitating in order to avoid long-term health damages." And David Jost's qupte about it, translated by _kayla85_: "He's staying in bed and is taking meds which calm his vocal chords. The doctors can't perform the surgery at the moment because he took some aspirin a couple of days ago because he had a headache. It is a blood-thinning med and has to be out of his system. Elsewise the surgery could be affected in a bad way." I can't believe he didn't know/no one warned him not to take aspirin!! Poor guy, now he's going to have to spend even longer thinking about the surgery and not talking. ((

well i didnt know that about aspirin and im a genius *Cough, yeah sure Skye..* how is he meana know that taking a headache pill effects surgery he is like a small child when no-one is watching him he will do something silly ^_^ Aw i bet he was reading it up on the internet, ways he can "accidently" postpone surgery. He might be scared i would be, especially as a singer. i dont want anyone attacking my vocal chords with a knife.. or someother pointy object. -shivers-

I can`t believe no one told him not to take any!! Especially when he is likely to be in pain and might take some! Yeah, poor Bill. Even longer to fret about it.
