But what I posted was true, as a matter of fact.
And wow, that's not even funny..
(And I didn't google it, I had it saved in my files as my friend did a report on it during her Media Studies course. TYVM.)
It's my opinion, and I'm very much allowed to be serious about any issue I like - no matter how big, or small. And, also I am allowed to state my opinion, and I will continue doing so as I please. *shrugs*

Rofl. I didn't tell you off, at all. When did I do that, may I ask??
All I did was reply to your comments with my own, and with my own opinions and posted some facts. Sorry if you feel that way, but I didn't tell you off.

When us admins/mods 'tell off' people it's with good reason; that is a total different thing all together and I don't see why you must bring it up. Because tbh, we didn't tell you off at all. We merely asked you to keep opinions like that to yourself which is fair - as at that time we didn't know much about the situation. Just because one of us tells you to be sensible, or that it's not a laughing matter isn't a telling off.

I think all of us were pretty much serious about the Tom incident and sorry but some comments were offending to others and violence is a sensitive subject. Not comparable to a discussion about some people's musical backgrounds. If you're holding a grudge about us not being happy about some comments that were made you better talk to one (or all of us) about it in a pm like we offered before. I don't think it's necessary to bring it up every now and then. Also what's wrong with supplying some information for a discussion? I can't see anything wrong with it. No fighting, girls. Just agree to disagree then. No point if it turns into an issue.
I don't watch BGT.

Amiee, I believe you'd find that to be seen as kidnapping and holding someone against their will.
I guess you don't really have time to with the way your shifts always change and your funky hours at work, do you Susi?

I guess you don't really have time to with the way your shifts always change and your funky hours at work, do you Susi? Exactly what I was just thinking when I read Amiee's comment. If it means I get a few decent hours off, I'll sit in that chair willingly. haha Have to get up in five hours and go to work... after that will be back to help for dinner in the evening because the hotel is fully booked with two groups so there's 80 odd people. I will be glad when "tomorrow" is over and done with.
Ok, sounds like a plan, Leyla.

When a serious situation ( such as the one with Tom ) arises, it is our responsibility as staff of an Official ST, to control the discussion that takes place regarding it.
Everyone who uses the forum needs to respect and understand that, as it will never change.
As I said at the time, it isn't personal. It may not always even reflect our own personal opinion on a subject!
We always ask people to think about what they say in a post, especially about sensitive subjects. If someone chooses to ignore that request and posts something inappropriate anyway, then I'm afraid they have to expect a reaction from the staff.
I don't think that can be considered unfair treatment in anyway, as it applies to everyone who uses the forum, including the staff.
BGT ...
I don't think Paul Potts winning will have any influence over Susan's chances. The only thing I think that might influence people is that she's already famous world wide. If it came down to people having to choose to vote between two people they like, they may think that she doesn't need the chance now, as much as someone else might. I dunno, but I hope she does really well, whatever. She's amazing.
I was furious that they put that idiot Darth Vader guy through. Totally talentless. And then they turned away people like that little drummer, who was awesome. Just ridiculous.
I have to admit I like Gregg Pritchard - the crazy opera guy. LOL. I still watch that and it's like watching a you tube video that's been tampered with! That voice just shouldn't be coming out of his mouth! But he's quirky and I like him.
