I noticed it, too. Though I'm not too sure yet, whether I like it that this part is missing or not...
I'm not that disappointed. There was a big chance it would be like that and I love the video the way it is, so couldn't really imagine something else. As I mentioned before, I just think there shouldn't have been that major announcement for it because it got hopes for a new video up.

its not rubbish, its one of the most amazing videos in the whole damn world! and yh i agree it might have ruined it to be changed? but then THs RC shouldnt make it sound like its gonna be changed, that really proper annoys me!
also lol i was messing about with smileys an this one looks like a stick man truned sideways: oK lol (:
also lol nope i didnt notice that he doesnt go over the edge this time ahaha!

i really love tihs video ¡¡¡¡ but it's the same like the german version
isn't it?
some ppl told me that in this one bill doen't jump at the end is that true? . i couldn't see the video yet

i'm quite glad the video is (almost) the same! first time i saw it i thought it was perfect for the song!
does anyone remember when the original german version was shot there was a little piece in the news about the "shocking" ending? and the reporter said there were 2 different endings, one in which he jumped, but he didnt in the other cos the other Bill got to the top of the building just in time?? i'm pretty sure i'm not imagining all of this but it was a while ago so i cant remember clearly

No, you're not imagining it, Kiri! ;D I saw that, too. After having thought about it a bit more, I've come to the conclusion that I prefer the ending of the German version because it features two options: jumping Bill and not jumping Bill. I love to have the options in one video because it's more of an open ending and more thoughtful.

i saw the video again today.
and iv come to the conclusion that actually im glad its stayed the same.
you guys are right, the video was perfect in the first place and didnt even need to be changed.
and i agree with midori, its good that now we have a choice of two endings (:

Actually, I referred to having the choice between the two endings in the German version alone.  The English version only shows us one ending whereas the German version features both endings.

The English version only shows us one ending whereas the German version features both endings. yeah the german ending shows him falling but then back on top of the roof which i dont really understand did he fall/jump or didnt he also the end of the english one confuses me a little, there are too many different Bill's at the end. not that having more than one Bill is a bad thing just that i dont understand which ones meant to be real CONFUSED.com |

In the Spring Nicht version, I`ve always thought that most of what happens is what`s going on inside Bill`s ( on the roof Bill ) head, including when he jumps. And the fact that he`s still there right at the end meant he decided not to do it. But that`s only the way I see it  |

I just watched it (without sound cos I'm at work) and I think they did a pretty good job, I like the ending, and I think it fits the song well, so i'm happy they didnt change it.
