Thanks for posting pics, guys! I looked through the whole thread yesterday as I only got back from London in the early morning hours (train journey took more than five hours instead of two due to an accident).
It's fantastic to read all your comments and that you had fun. *yay* I really had a great time, too. Where do I start? ;D
First of all it was awesome to meet with (almost) all the other admins and mods... as always! I wish we could spend more time together. I love you guys.
Shame I didn't get around talking to the Monsun girls... well other than a quick "hi Ziggy" as I was rushing up the stairs just before the raffle. Same goes for Linda - I didn't really want to start a conversation as I was washing my hands when you and your friend were in the ladies to get changed. Can't wait to see the pics you took and to read about the party in the next issue of Monsun. Hope you all had a good time and from what I read so far it sure seems this way.
Hopefully no one thought I'd snub them because I wasn't really talking when Ines and I checked your tickets at the entrance. I just didn't want to cause a delay and/or queue so I concentrated on getting the ticket stubs as quickly as possible. I have to say I really enjoyed the reactions the Tokio Hotel projection above the stairs and the wristbands got, e.g. someone saying they'd love it and it would go in their scrapbook. ;D Your post, Fran, reminded me of that. Just love it! Did nobody take a pic of the band projection above the stairs though? I don't think I've seen one yet. I absolutely loved how the slides with the TH pics looked inside the venue. I love the pics of them and also the ones from outside as I was never there during the whole time. Good to see what was going on there. haha
It was lovely to meet some new people. Nice chatting to Havanah (shame you had to leave early) and thanks to Suzie and Liv for coming over and saying hi... and Louise, even though you stepped on my foot with one of your heels. No worries though... a tiny bruise was all that was left of it. I'm not big on the talking myself so I'm always happy for people to come to me and start a conversation. It was fun to dance along with some of you, e.g. Alice and we had some great sing-alongs as well. ;D One of the girls telling me she thought I was 15 when she first saw me... *lol*blending in with the TH fan crowd* I spotted quite a few more familiar faces from the forum which is always great and haha the only name tag I did was Ellie's (twistedguru) and even that she mostly had to do by herself. *sorry* I can't believe Sophie (ecomo) got away again without me talking to her some more. I demand you're saying bye at the next meet up! I saw you sitting in the same spot all the time and checked you were still there every now and then... even during the raffle, I believe. Then after the raffle when the music quietened down you were gone! I missed you again. I hope you still had a good time. Your dress was lovely.
Somebody mentioned that they would like to find the girl from New Zealand again and would need to know her username. Sorry, I don't remember who asked for it but I believe you mean Em. I've mentioned her before in the other party thread because she did the flyer/poster/ticket designs for us. Not sure why you didn't get her username but if you look in the other thread, I think, I've mentioned it in my post as well. You do the rest with finding it. She's living in London at the moment and even though she unfortunately isn't very active on the forum here, she said she'd like to get more involved with UK fans before so she might be happy for you finding her again after the party.
As I've spent approximately the first hour upstairs with checking tickets, I don't really know what it was like inside but when I joined the party the dancefloor was pretty empty. I thought it was kind of brilliant for the dad joining in our little attemps to get more people to dance and get on the dancefloor. Hehe, it was good of him to dance along. No need to be embarrassed. ;D
Which brings me to the point of saying how happy I am that we got some positive feedback on the music that was played. We had more than 600 song requests and after the first selection we still had to cut down nine hours to five which was anything but easy. Claire and I almost fell out over the playlist. *lol* Just kidding. It was fun somehow. We had to make lots of sacrifices though. That's why there wasn't any HIM on it for example. We did play DBSK though, Leyla, but it was more in the beginning so you've probably missed it because you guys were arriving later. Can't believe you missed the Veronica's song, Molly. Hopefully Suzie is happy we chose another Nena song and not 99 Luftballons.
Did anybody get any comments from their parents that were there as well? I would like to know what they thought about the party.
Unfortunately I didn't take any photos myself but I'm not very good with it anyway. Would be awesome to see some more and thanks again to everybody who has already posted theirs!
Lol not quite to death, Bee, but yeah... organising such meet up events always involves some work. *lol* We're beyond lucky to have Claire! *hugs*

Great, I thought it might have been her as soon as I read her post. I just didn't get a really good look at her at the time. It made me squeal a little on the inside when she said it because that was one of the things we talked about when organising it... things people could keep in scrapbooks etc.

It was amazing.
My mother, who was there very briefly, said that it seemed to be an amazing atmosphere which it really was. One of the best days ever!
Also we seemed to be gathering loads of attention from passers by which can only have been brilliant!

Haha Susi ;D I walked past you on my way out but you were busy so i didn't say bye. Sorry Yeahh, my sister kept asking me if i was going to dance and i was like nooo xD I enjoyed seeing everyone else dancing etc. I can't dance though so i didn't Thanks ^_^ I got a picture of the projection at the top of the stairs. It's not very good as i took it on my phone. Also, one of the Bill projection that was behind me: My sister took more photos than me. I'll have to get them off her.
