Yes his accent is very cute.
Id like something explained if possible. I dont get the meaning of the Dont Jump video. I know what the song is about obviously but I cant make sense of why you first see Bill standing on the roof of the building, then see him down in the street looking up at himself. Then he runs to stop himself from jumping. I dont get it.
Even if its just a theory you have, thats fine. I just cant think of anything to make sense of it.

Here are some things that i've read: Some say that the song isn't actually totally related to suicide, it's about opening your eyes to the problems in your life and making a change. Sometimes you need 'saving' from something in your own life and you feel so helpless because you don't know who can help you with your problem, when actually, the only person who can help you is yourself, you just can't see that. Some say that that is why Bill is the one jumping off the roof, and also why Bill is the one saving himself, and singing too. The Bill on the roof doesn't know what he can do, he feels out of control in his life and doesn't know how to make things better so he gives up. The Bill that saves him is inside of him - that's why he sometimes appears like a phantom or a ghost at times in the video, because the Bill that's about to jump is realising that only himself can save him because he has the answers inside of him to his problems. That's one interpretation i found. Also, in the German one, because he jumps, maybe it represents the conflict that goes on inside a person who is suicidal. I personally believe the song is an anti-suicidal song - though the above could be a part of it. Because the Bill that jumps also sings the song as well at times, i think that they are supposed to be seen as the same person. One is trying to save the other, but the other jumps. Maybe that's supposed to be the conflict where a suicidal person wants to die but they want to live as well and there is a conflict between the two voices in their head. Also, that third Bill is created when the suicidal Bill jumps, maybe making it clear that that person will forever leave a part of themselves on Earth even after they have committed suicide, or that a part of them was still reluctant to commit suicide. Also, the suicidal Bill could be representing all suicidal people, and how, when people see that this Bill is about to jump, they do nothing - sometimes because they don't know what to do or because they don't notice Bill. The only person who tries to do anything or who actually notices the suicidal Bill on the building is the Bill who i see as part of the suicidal Bill. Maybe this represents how suicidals feel like no one else apart from them understands how they feel - in the same way that no one can really motivate someone to change their suicidal thoughts but themselves? These are just a few ideas, some of my own and some from the internet. Let me know what you think

I totally agree that the two Bill's are meant to be seen as the same person - the Bill that comes to save him is representing the part of himself that really wants to live, even though he feels he can't, and all the frustrations and exhaustion of trying to convince himself to go on living.
I think it's also highlighting how lonely suicide / suicidal thoughts are. It doesn't matter whether you're someone who has people they can trust and talk to, or if you're alone - when you've reached the point of deciding to take your own life, you're way past the point where anyone can help you. There really is just you and you left in the game.
And I think the video makes this point very powerfully.

Yes, the only person who has any power to stop themselves from committing suicide is themselves, no matter who you have surrounding you, as you said.
And it's also my favourite song. Not just my favourite Tokio Hotel song but my favourite all-time song. It's the first song i heard by tokio hotel ('Spring Nicht' i heard first then i moved quickly to the English version - took me a while to get into the German ones when i first became a fan) and that song is one of the reaons i became such a big fan of them. 'Don't Jump' is my top played song on itunes. It's just such a powerful song, i love it. The video is just incredible as well.

These are good theories. They`ve cleared things up a bit.I do absolutely luv the song and video, but just wasnt sure what it meant. I didnt like to think Bill had been suicidal so was trying to think of something else but couldnt.

I was always curious about the English version of the 'Spring Nicht' video, in the German version, we see Bill fall but in the English version he doesn't. I never understood why they did that...

I don't know if this is true, so please don't take my word on it, but i'm pretty sure i read somewhere that for the English version, they were not allowed to show Bill falling from the roof because it promoted the idea of 'when you are suicidal, you will kill yourself no matter how you try to save yourself' and they wanted more of an idea that there was a way to help yourself. Though, really, i'm not 100% sure but i remember reading that somewhere i think.
